"....Shepard"
Whats the best compliment someone has ever told you?
"I like you cause you are cute, hilarious, immature/mature when needed and a nerd"
And that happened only like 3 days ago...
" "You're sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tall." "I get this a lot. I never know what to say when people meet me and say this. I tend to ignore them because the people who say this are usually really boring, hence why they pointed out the fucking obvious. Never really thought it was a compliment.
""Oh my........ I love your pink hair!"Hehe
Well obviously I wanted it to be bright flaming red. :("
Heh, people actually say a lot of really ridiculously nice things to me. Most girls I know think I'm like the sweetest guy in the world, so that's awesome. The other day, some customer at work told me I look like Tom Cruise, which is rad because I'm a big fan. Though, I don't think I look much like him. Also, I work at Starbucks, and some random customer swears I'm the best drink maker in all of California, so I wear that title with pride and flaunt my "People's Champ" compliment whenever appropriate.
They come and go. The one that sticks to me, for some reason, is "you'd be a good, happy drunk." MMMMMMMMmmhm
" you're totally average!! "LIES!!! You have an entire fan club on facebook you lying liar!
For me though... Well, someone thought I was homeless once. And by someone I mean 3 people in a row.
Probably from my father, as unspectacular as that may sound. He's old now, like, reflecting on life old, but I've still got that sorta awkwardness some people never get over between them and their dad. Suffice to say we rarely talk about particularly intimate subjects, but in a surprisingly candid moment he once told me that I'm the best thing that's happened to him.
I'm not sure if that qualifies as a compliment, but I've never been that moved by anyone else.
Don't really get many compliments.
Some Emo chick said "Nice tatts!", at my arm sleeve tattoos. She tried to talk to me at a bar and I blew her off.
A good friend of mine told me I'd be a great dad. That actually meant a lot more to me than she could ever know, I just never thought that I'd make a good dad... I don't have much of an example work with, you know?
There are other things, I've been complimented on my various art; I make movies a lot and my friends really enjoy that stuff.
I don't know... there are other things... but nothing that really stands out.
I was once told by a waitress how awesome it was that i had dark brown hair (its almost black, pretty close as white people's hair goes) but still bright blue eyes. She told me that it was up to me to seek out other dark haired, blue eyed people and mate so there could be more in the world. Obviously the first thing that popped into my head was, is this waitress hitting on me, which would have been cool cause she looked alright and I never get hit on by waitresses. Unfortunately upon closer inspection, she had brown eyes, so she must have been making a general comment. Still made me happy that day.
"Do you take a bottle of extenze per day?"
For the record, I do not......... thats all me.
and "You are hilarious", which is not a bad compliment.
They're all crap compliments, people usually telling me how smart I am. I know it's egotistical to say this, but I already know that! Other than that, no compliments, probably because of the egotism people see in me. It's not much, but it seems like much. (That sentence demonstrates it.)
This reminds me of a few years ago when I was taking a night class to catch up on my math. We were waiting for the teacher to get in and these two girls were talking about me( I had headphones on but did not have it turned on) and one said " He is really hot isn't he? and her friend replied " oh he is alright I guess." It was still nice to hear lol. The girl ended up ignoring me for the next few months because I told my friend that I really did not care for her.Oh I am such a prick.........
