Last.fm™ is my favorite website to learn all about the latest music trends! It's a wonderful part of the CBS Interactive™ network of brands and properties.

I really need to listen to more modern music. Apart from Weird Al and the Kyle Gass Band, I couldn't tell you about a single artist who's released an album in the last couple of years.

i don't know why i have one, but i have one. i kinda like browsing shoutboxes for songs/albums from time to time, if only to vainly affirm my own taste in music. lastfm is a devil though as it catches the rare dave matthews band song i play despite my best efforts <_<

Only look at the site every couple of months for the scrobbling. Im not really sure why I care about play counts...but I....do...

Been scrobbling pretty consistently since 2007. It's good for stat tracking and finding new stuff, though I tend to find new stuff through Facebook these days (my Pages Feed is just a bunch of music news at this point).

This is my account keeping track from 2004. Although I stopped using it between 2011 and 2013, but I wasn't listening to music as much then anyways. I was almost full video game podcasts during that time until the Video Game Suckening of 2013. I listened to heavy metal, progressive metal and power metal until like 2007, then I was really into indie and alternative rock and David Bowie, and then around 2010 I was getting into triphop and 70s funk and soul music. Now I'm into, fuck, I don't know. My top three all-time are David Bowie, Porcupine Tree and Matthew Good Band. My top three since I came back are LCD Soundsystem, the Beastie Boys, and Kauf, who only has an EP out right now but fuck man it's great.

Why don't we start a Giant Bomb group?
