    While not as bloody as the images and demo shown a E3  but they are still amazing with some really good lighting effects.  
    Can anyone guess who is the big dude Kratos is about to get medieval on?! I'll give you a little hint, it rhymes with HADES.

    i'd like to officially announce that God of War 3 exclusively for the Playstation 3 Entertainment System runs at 1080p and 120 frames-per-second. It is truly a masterpiece and proof that the PS3 is the most powerful console ever made.

    @KazHirai: God of War III will run natively at 1080p. As far as the FPS is concerned then it's still unknown, though Stig Asmussen said in a G4 interview that the game will have veritable frame rate like the pervious games had. Truth be told I don't really care if the game has veritable frame rate or locked frame rate as long as it runs smooth. Anyone who played the pervious two games knows that they ran like butter.

    Ah man, part of me wants him to get killed for defiling so much mythology and for being practically the cause of his problems and the other part of me wants some damn Spartan violence!

    I expect Kratos to go through (literally) at least half of the Olympian Alumni circa 480BC, or at least anyone of them stupid enough to get in his way.

    still looks extremely epic, I personally think that Dantes Inferno besides being an obvious rip off does perk my interest a tiny bit more though.

    It does look very amazing. I'm worried it's skipping under the radar because of it's similarity to previous God Of War titles, and as such, the fact that the formula has been copied so much.
     
    I never expected them to reinvent the ball with God Of War III, after all, they have said it's the last in the series. Of course it won't be. But I expect they'll reinvent the ball AFTER this one.
     
    For me though, this is everything I wanted it to be. It's God Of War, made super, super pretty. If they show me something that further blows me away - well, then I'm 100% sold.
     
    I love that screen of Kratos using the wings. It's close to CGI in my opinion.
     
    EDIT: And when Jaffe said it looked like a canvas painting, well, I totally get that now.

    @get2sammyb: I think the next God of War game should be in modern times. How it goes is end times begin (aka. the Apocalypse) and a guy loses his entire family right at the start. This makes him absolutely go mad with grief, anger etc. Turns out he is one of the few left in Kratos' bloodline (considering how many chicks Kratos has nailed this is pretty improbable but I digress) and this awakens the latent powers of a demigod. The game takes the usual route of the revenge tale except he's going to get revenge on the Abrahamic god/gods. The devs can interpret the Bible, the Torah and the Quaran and they see fit. I just want to kill some modern day gods...and piss off some religious nut-bags. Man I'm a jerk.
