So, what was your favourite weapon and was there any particular reason why (either a killing moment, specific weapon trait, etc).
 
Mine would have to be the Claws of Hades. I can wreck more house with these than the others and I got addicted to the soul grab (L1 + O), the soul summon (R2), and the bitchin dodge pull.

The only weapon i didn't use often was the electric whip things.  Every other weapon though i found was really useful in different situations.

the gauntlets for just killin regular dudes, and the electric whip for bosses.

The blades of exile because they have the most range. I would use the grab and then L1+Triangle hold to get them in the air. Then grab them back down and then pull out the cestus and beat the crap out of them.

L1+X does a lot of damage... so all of them?

Classic blades up until the scorpion. Then I had to switch between that and the boxing gloves up until the final encounter.

I stuck with the Blades until I got the Cestus, at which point I started upgrading both of those. Didn't start using the Claws until I had the Blades & Cestus at level 5, at which point it was kind of pointless. DIdn't use the whips at all... might use them more on my next playthrough.

the whips.  
it gives you the most insane combos and when there are lots of enemies attacking you the the special (R2) would easily hold off everyone while also increasing THE HELL out of your combo streak. I got a 300+ combo using the whips against Zeus.  
The cestus is the most satisfying though. It has a really nice feel to them. like you really feel like you are beating the shit out of this dudes.  
 
also i loved using hermes boots during fights, not only is it effective, it looked fucking AWESOME like straight out of the movie 300.

Exile blades and the Cestus. Some enemies and objects required the use of the Cestus, so I just stuck with 'em. They seemed to do some nice damage, as well. Those whip seemed to come up way too late in the game, and I barely had a chance to try them out. I might just use them in the arena to get that 1000 combo trophy.

I would go back and forth between the Claws of Hades and the Nemean Cestus. 

I used all of them pretty regularly.
