Guacamelee! 2 flew right under my radar. The first one was a pleasant surprise and one of the best platformers in recent years. With it's absurd tone, gorgeous visuals, and satisfying mechanics, it hit all the right notes without overstaying its welcome. I had no idea that a sequel was even in the works but I downloaded it as soon as it appeared on PSN. More quality action platforming 0
Guacamelee 2 leaves off right where the first ended, so if you haven't played Guacamelee 1 go do that! Finished playing? Okay, good.People that liked Guacamelee 1 will find it very easy to enjoy the sequel - the art and music are even better than before, and the combat still feels smooth but weighty.
