Long time GiantBomb member and follower but just jumping into Guild Wars 2, overheard Jeff mention on the last Podcast about the GiantBomb guild and wanted to know what it takes to sign up or be enlisted?

I migrated my character as soon as I heard about the guild here (thankfully, it's still free :P), so any information would be cool. I haven't been particularly active on the forums myself due to just time, but perhaps this game can bring me to the forums more often. :P

I got hacked and my account was suspended.

Fun.

Game said my account email didnt even exist this morning and I also receive an email at 6am saying someone was trying to change my account info.

Couldnt even log into the website so I had to create a support account.

Now just waiting on support. Hope its fast. I have already wasted most of a day on this and its a holiday weekend. Poo.

I'm interested, just had the game show up from Amazon. I've never played Guild Wars before, so go easy on me... I'm new. I have, however, played a handful of MMO's in the past, so I'm not totally naive.

Aside from being set in the same world, Guild Wars 2 is completely different from Guild Wars. Not having played the first game isn't a disadvantage in any way.

My buddies from WoW back in the day were all supposed to join up, but they flaked out - so the best place to be has to be with fellow duders! Haha.

@CornBREDX: I think we'll see a substantial drop off in members before long. There's an odd amount of people seemingly creating accounts, just to join the guild.. which I don't really understand. I imagine a lot of these new guys are just lurkers, and that's fine.. but yeah, I don't expect it to stay this busy for long.
