    Halo: Reach

Game » consists of 13 releases. Released Sep 14, 2010

A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.

Am I the only Halo fan not interested in Reach?

I used to be a big Halo fan. I loved Combat Evolved, and I don't think 2 and 3 were quite as good, they were still great games.

But I'm just not that interested in Reach.

    Anyone else disinterested?

Also, I don't like that they've changed the controls. I liked reload being mapped to a shoulder button, and from what I've seen of the new control schemes, they've opted to put melee there instead, and I know I reload more often than I melee. Unless I'm remembering wrong.

Play the beta? You can change the controls easily, man. There's a bunch of configurations. I'm looking forward to it for the campaign/co-op again. You know that'll be good!

Well, i really was into Halo 2 multiplayer for a while, but that's it.
I never played the other games, so i'm quite interested in what Bungie brings next.
Maybe because i'm nót over-exposed to the whole Halo Universe?
    Might be.

I'm not at all excited for the multiplayer however the singleplayer could be quite cool.

I'm a Halo hater that is actually interested in Reach. It's nice to see the series join the 21st century like every other shooter.

@schizogony:  I'm pretty sure Halo: Combat Evolved was one of the first games to limit the weapons you carried. Even the first Call of Duty had a possibility of carrying more guns. It's hard pressed to find shooters these days that are not remakes that let you carry ALL THE GUNS.

No, you aren't the only one. I think I'm just tired of playing Halo, period.

I'm the other way around.  I am really interested in Reach, but I never really liked Halo 1-3.  I did beat the prior games, I never liked the level design of the single player campaign.  I always sort of felt "lost", and I usually don't play multiplayer.  But after reading the Fall of Reach a few months back, I'm kind of looking forward to the game.

Your definitely not the only one, I've seen tons of people on the Bungie forums express a disinterest in Reach.

i hope not. in my experience the games that halo fans hate are the ones i like  the best. for example not manyy halo fans thought halo 3 odst was better than halo 3. my opinion is the direct opposite. so going by my superstition the less halo fans who jump ship to reach the better the game will be to me.
