Halo: Reach
Game » consists of 13 releases. Released Sep 14, 2010
A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.
What will you first do when you get Reach?
Jump into the campaign with three of my other friends as soon as we get back from the midnight release. Woot woot.
Download all free armor.
Read Dr. Halsey's book while it downloads.
Customize and re-color my armor once its done.
Play campaign.
Play multiplayer.
Earn credits.
Buy new armor.
Re-customize armor.
Play Campaign
Repeat.
Straight to the campaign. Maybe I can even finish it in one sitting- almost did that for Halo 3. Matchmaking with voice chat or even just MP with friends will have to wait until the campaign is finished. Don´t want to be spoiled about anything.
I still like the little "anti-Halo-fanboys" that pop up every once in a while.. and here I thought they had moved on to hating CoD because its popular. I wonder what the next thing to hate is going to be.. hmm maybe Gears or something, because thats getting "milked" to "death", right?! No, just kidding, these trolls probably hate every game they come across.
1. Unwrap game the morning before release day.
2. Install to HDD.
3. Play 4 player Legendary co-op for the next however-many hours.
4. Play multiplayer for the next year or three.
- unwrap cellophane
- open game box
- turn on console
- put game in disk drive
- use the guide button to exit the game because it fucking started automatically when I put it in...again
- sign in
- install to hard drive
- start campaign
- cry in a corner because I've just dropped another $65 down the toilet to supplement my video game addiction
1. Camp the store for our copy with my cousin.
2. Install to HDD while getting drinks.
3. Start it up, awe at the menu screen in pure fangirlism.
4. Start up the Legendary co op with my cousin.
5. ???
6. Profit!
This (or these?)." For me it will be: -Install in harddrive -Download Recon -Download Elite Armor -Download Flames -Download Gamestop Helmet -Download Gamestop Grenade Pouch -Play Campaign What about you? "
I'll be tempted to get back into the multiplayer, but I played the beta a shit ton so campaign will be something completely new.
I love how most of the people in this thread have no clue what the topic is asking. It's the first thing you'll do, not the first 10 things you'll do. Silly people, not knowing how to read.
When I get it, I'll probably play multiplayer first.

" sell it to a halo fanboy for 5 dollars more because stores ran out because people buy halo just because its called halo. fuck halo "@tunaburn said:
" remember why i dont play halo "No need to get all butt hurt you two.
OT: Probably the same, except for downloading the Gamestop stuff, as it doesn't exist where I live.

Silly fellow, not knowing how to read.
Pretty much like a did for Halo 3 and all big multiplayer FPSs: play the campaign for a little bit then dive into multiplayer until the sun falls and rises again.
" play call of duty for the first time in months after all of the halo players leave. "I think Halo players were already playing Halo, not MW2, that's why we're called Halo players.
For me it would be:
1. Get home from midnight release
2. Run into the room jumping on the bed
3. unwrap the game as fast as possible
4. put in the game, go back to dashboard, and install
5. look at all the goodies i got from the limited edition ( Probably sulk cause not enough money for the holy shit edition with the action figures, but will still be happy that I got the limited)
6. once install is done start downloading all of the armor and all that noise while reading the cool book
7. Press a to play the game
8. Get my mind blown by the campaign
" sell it to a halo fanboy for 5 dollars more because stores ran out because people buy halo just because its called halo. fuck halo "
OT:
I would play the campaign first, if it's not as good as the first Halo, then I'll return it. However, if it does offer the best campaign since CE, then I'll waste hours of my life on it.
" I'll 'skin up some spliffs' and play the campaign first. ;p All while hoping it approaches the greatness that was CE. "Same here, Halo 3 ODST was almost as good as CE (Would've been just as good, if not, better if it was longer), Halo Reach might be better. It could be the best Halo since CE, or it will end up as one of 2010's biggest disappointments. I just hope the single-player is at least longer than 6 hours.
Immediately start the instal and then play the campaing on heroic. after that i will probably play some of multiplayer and firefight with friends and then do the campaing on legendary. But why has the release date have to be tuesday...why cannot be thu or fri so it would be ready for the weekend.
Step 1, Put it in my lovely New Xbox 360,
Step 2, Close tray, get wet (too excited) when the Bungie logo appears,
Step 3, Make Spartan, change controls (cos I R pr0)
Step 4, Read challenges,
Step 5, Convince friends to complete the daily challenges, we have all week for the other.
I will upload to my HDD probably before the second time I play, I don't think I could be waiting to play when I know all my friends will be in the menus.
First I'll look at all the stuff it came with for a bit, then I'll have to go off to University (it'll be coming by courier in the morning), then when I get home I'll play the single player on Heroic, should be able to get that out on the day. I'm pretty sure I can get away from Uni just after lunch on a Tuesday....then multiplayer at night :)
