I used to go to a Wendy's in Leicester Square in London. Then one day my dad and I found it had closed down. I was horrified. Anybody ever go there? I know it's massive over in the States but my Wendy burger is now just a dream, a vision, a long lost memory.
"Hey what'll we do for a signature product... you know like the Big Mac or the Whopper?"
"Er... let's make our burgers... square"
Genius.
Wendy's burger, BK fries, McD's milkshake = bang tidy.
So does anybody have a Wendy's near them?
Hamburger
A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).
Wendy's in the UK?!
Square burger? Not as strange as McDonald morning sausages though.
But I wish I coulda tried Wendys, dunno why. This forum makes me big on burgers.
I live in California and pretty much nobody eats at Wendy's...I think the only people who really enjoy Wendy's are those who can only compare it to like McDonald's and Burger King and have no decent fast food at all. You guys aren't missing out on anything. I would trade Wendy's in a heartbeat to get some more access to curry restaurants.
Haha I'm thinking the one on Leicester Square (although perhaps just a mirage considering nobody's ever heard of it) was better than the ones in America because they were trying hard to make it over here. They didn't do the Triple Decker Baconator or whatever though. Not sure why these guys make burgers people are actually AFRAID TO EAT. Something wrong there. Still. I miss Wendy's!
