Edit: Good games man. The phantom circle of healing may have decided in the match. It would have wiped my board and I can't play from behind with that deck. If I had to play against Priest in game 2, I probably would have played Warlock. If it came down to a game 3 Warlock match, that's a real toss up.

@mrmazz: Cool beans, my summer vacation starts Friday so I can play pretty much anytime. How does Friday 7AM (my time) Thursday 9PM (your time) sound?

The round has "officially" transitioned into round 3, though two matchups are already complete.

A few notes.

- Counting is hard, so the dates for rounds on the front page aren't accurate. The accurate dates are reflected on the challonge bracket.

- We'll probably be a little more lax on round deadlines from this point on. People are getting through their games quickly anyway. We'll only use it to enforce if people become unresponsive.

- We're starting best of 5 in the winners bracket a round earlier because there are more rounds than I anticipated. Best of 5 now starts in round 5.

Hey bud, I was eliminated by Darkshaper in round 1. Was there a losers bracket or something that I missed?

EDIT: Now I see that there was one. Unfortunately, I won't have time to get in any games until Thursday or so. If that DQ's me, so be it.

Round 1 between myself and @ohpmckenzie goes to me. Hearthstone crapped out on us midway through round 2, so we will play the rest of our matches at a later time.

And the conclusion: Round 2 went to @ohpmckenzie handily, but after a pretty close Round 3, I emerged victorious.

Any chance you can get it in by Friday? That way the winner has the weekend to get a jump on scheduling or playing.

@c0v3rt Quick question. Do the dates listed on challonge also correlate with the losers bracket? Assuming half the people aren't playing those games and just dropping out once they lose? My last opponent mentioned the tourney had become double elimination but, if so, doesn't seem quite fair with half the people in the loser's bracket not playing. So is the losers bracket just for fun or would the winner of it advance back into the tourney?

@veovisjohn: I'm just a man of the people, and the tournament was turned to double elimination because enough people wanted it that way. It does indeed count. As far as dates go, a lot of people were playing ahead which is fine - but it made tracking the scheduling of them a bitch. They do indeed follow the same 3 to 4 day window. If someone doesn't want to participate anymore, I get that and understand - I just need either them to tell me so. Otherwise, I need the person still wanting to participate to attempt to schedule something in here so I can give them credit for the win after a few days. If I'm overlooking a matchup or if someone isn't responding, please PM me so I can advance the match-ups as appropriate.

I hit a real lucky streak on card draw and managed to beat @kidzombie's Warrior and Rogue with my mage. Next up, I'll be facing... oh crap, the tournament organizer. The fix is in!
