Geez Square Enix is publishing everything now.
Well They did buy IO and this is an IO franchise, so it makes sense.
Game » consists of 11 releases. Released Nov 20, 2012
But this preview, was under strict surveillance, since all none press-guests had to sign an agreement with identification papers that they were not to take pictures or be filming under the session. Plus their questions about the game were mostly answered with "maybe", "Can't comment on that yet" or "You will have to see".... :-P
I am stoked for this, I just hope it doesn't veer too far into Splinter Cell: Conviction territory, considering all the bullet-points I have been reading seem to focus on 'action-stealth' and the combat.
Square Enix should just forget about publishing video games and just do trailers for every other publisher. Tomb Raider and Hitman have never looked so Goddamn good until you put a little Squeenix in the cinematic tank. I bet they'll play about as well as Eidos games, though.

Actually, there was a demo preview here in Denmark, where IO Interactive showed off the game to the world! You can watch exclusive pictures and get more info at: http://www.pcworld.dk/art/116742?a=newsletter&i=1461&utm_source=pcworld&utf_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=se-den-danske-lejemorder-slaa-til-igen In danish, but use google translate expansion to understand. Best part, in-game pictures that looks über nice!!
Man, if you look at the questions they mention, you really agree with what they talked about during a previous bombcast.
"Is the voice actor the same?""Will you be rated on missions?"... Only question missing: "How many modes? And how's ze multiplayer?".
Fuck Danish game press...
The last Hitman I played was 2, but this trailer has me interested. Hopefully there's some gameplay videos soon.
This is going to suck. Where is the stealth in all this brutality?
They might as well just have called this game Hitman: Dog Days.. If you get my reference to sucky action games..
From the Hitman: Absolution Wiki page:WITH HIS BARE HANDS! Finally a way to rescue a situation when you fucked up and got caught while sneaking up behind a dude.
"So far what is known
- A new cover system that allows 47 to not only take cover but roll to and from avaliable cover.
- 47 can now effectively hide in the shadows as a means of stealth
- Kills can be preformed from a ledge with an enemy above
- 47 has an improved variety of physical attacks allowing him to take out multiple enemies at once
God i hope they put all these points on the back of the box... especially that last one... in all caps and bold!
47 can now choke people with his bare hands
What? Are you saying they stole those questions from a bombcast? Those are pretty valid questions anybody with interest would ask.@Heavystormdk said:

@colinjw said:I disagree profusely I believe that it is very accurate. The trailer looks as though it has been stylized towards the type of action that is expected in Jason Statham movies including body movement and fighting style. Therefor I stand by my previous statement. It is "Jason Statham" the game. I'm cool with that. This isn't accurate…

@NeverDave: Nah, last E3 they had a conversation about European press. Here, listen:
Ah ok, but still some of those are pretty valid for a franchise that's been on a break.
@NeverDave: Well, I can't really see how a voice actor or the fact that you can S-rank a mission would make the game any better or worse.

So you're saying if Solid Snake had a different voice actor at some point it wouldn't be of note?

Well, not literally, but it's comparable. Yeah, the game could still be good if the voice actor is different, and could very well suck if the voice actor is the same.

Um, where's the stealth? The trailer kinda gives the wrong impression.
How? all the games always gave you the option to either use stealth or go in guns blazing.
