Cerberus is a creature from Greek and Roman myth commonly depicted as a three-headed dog. It guards the gates of the underworld for the god Hades, preventing those who cross the River Styx from ever escaping.
Officially he is "Frankenstein's monster", as the book was named after his creator, Victor Frankenstein, not the monster made of reanimated pieces of dead bodies. Nonetheless, the name stuck with the populace, and "Frankenstein" has been lumbering through horror movies and games alike for decades.

The main character of the 19th century novel Frankenstein and most of its adaptations, Dr. Frankenstein is a scientist who manages to bring a hideous corpse to life. He is often thought to be a progenitor to the "mad scientist" trope.
Poseidon is the son of Cronos and Rhea. When he was born Cronos swallowed him whole and he survived and grew inside Cronos' belly due to his immortality. He grew inside the belly of Cronos with his other siblings until Zeus freed him and his siblings. They then waged war against the Titans.

The sordid ferryman of the dead in Greek mythology. His boat would herald the newly departed across the river Styx and Acheron into Hades, the Greek underworld.
