All Mae wants to do is run around with her friends, break stuff and hang on to a life of aggressive aimlessness. She dropped out of college and returned home to her crumbling old mining town to do just that, but she's finding that nothing is the same anymore.
I saw this yesterday and maybe some of you guys would be interested. Alec Holowka (mostly famous for Aquaria and the Offspring Fling OST) and Scott Benson (animator) are kickstarting a new video game about an angsty teenage cat girl or something. It's a 2D exploration adventure game of some kind. To be honest, I'm not sure how the game will actually turn out, but that quality of animation and art is enough to get me back this game. I mean, just look at that trailer. I'm backing way too many games at this point, but I haven't seen many games like this.
It's already fully funded, but there's still almost a month to go for the campaign. It's a chance to preorder it on the cheap if you trust them enough to finish the game, as is always the case with Kickstarter games.
EDIT: Oh, I should probably mention that it's called Night In The Woods.
