Is freezing on ps3 100% going to happen?
the game auto-saves so if it freezes you just turn off than on the system and you are good to go again, and plenty of people havent had issues at all so its not like your system will explode or something....
and for the love of stop trying to access the ps store since that seems to be a decent amount of the complaints even though people know that the store isnt even up yet.
@Hailinel: I don't think so. I haven't bothered to check lately and I have like three codes to redeem.Yeah, I didn't think so. I'm still sitting on a couple of codes to redeem myself.
I wonder if the PlayStation Store will be more adept at handling the massive influx of code redemption attempts than PSN's log-in feature could handle the password change requests.

It sure doesn't sound like it.@rjayb89 said:No.I've had mine freeze on me only when I tried to access the PlayStation Store from the game. So, yes, 100% if you do that. Other than that the game runs fine.
I'm about halfway done with it, and it hasn't frozen up on me or anything. I even went into the Playstation Store on accident, and it didn't freeze. So I'm just going to assume that most people aren't experiencing freezing issues.
@Hailinel: The PSN store being down seems to be the only thing that has any affect on it. If the whole online was down you just wouldn't be able to use the Ask the Community option when using Intuition points.Which is why I'm skeptical that this error scenario was even tested that much. If the store is accessible from within the game, it stands to reason that a basic error functionality test would be to test against a dev or mock PSN server that's in a down state.

It's just weird how it's almost nonexistant on these boards. Things on this board seem to not translate into the real world very well.

It looks there's a bit of a debate as to whether or not it's actually related to the firmware. People are saying in the comments on Rockstar's site and on NeoGAF that older 360 models are having overheating problems also. Sounds like it could be a problem on the game's end.
My 360 is pretty old so I'm a bit worried. I've played a lot without any issues, but now I'm wondering if I should wait until this gets cleared up.
I had it freeze once during a street crime, when I shot a guy that was running away.
Other than that though, it's been working fine.
The only time it froze for me was the PSN store function. Otherwise I'm 14 hours in and I have never had the game freeze on me ever.
