I ordered from Game.co.uk - choosing release day delivery. It's been at the " Your order is currently being picked and packed" stage for most of the day. I'm imaging a really befuddled chap at a distribution centre somewhere has been frantically trying to locate that copy of L.A. Noire he was sure he had a minute ago for about 4 hours.

So where are you guys in the process? Where did you order from and are you nervously anticipating a release day arrival?

I preordered from PLAY.com months ago, and two days ago it was finally dispatched. I expect it still arrive maybe on the retail day of release, if not a couple of days after with the usual incompetence of PLAY.com + UK Postal Service.

Amazon didn't even offer day of release shipping, so goddamn.

@Abyssfull: I've had really bad experiences with play for this sort of thing, and amazon has been pretty mediocre as well. I'm hoping that since Game is a specialist and wants to dispatch it before release that it will be here on Friday. I'm betting that since yours is already dispatched at this point that it's getting to you on time.

I'm in Sweden, pre-ordered it from PC City for 399:- while other places have it for like 599:-, and I got note that my game is sent an hour ago. Not sure it will arrive tomorrow, but I can at least be certain it's in my mailbox by Friday.

Pre-ordered it from GAME, got dispatched yesterday around midday so it should be with me tomorrow - stupidly hoped I might even get it today because I'm working 12 - 12 tomorrow, but no luck. Can't wait.

Ordered from ShopTo. Game has been dispatched. So should arrive tomorrow. :)

Dispatched at quarter to eight this morning... Brink got here a day early, so I hope the same happens for L.A Noire!

Preordered it on the 16th May from Game and it's saying it's been dispatched today. Having preordered from them before and using the standard free delivery I'm confident it'll be here on Friday, if not I've still got loads of games to get through :).

Play.com dispatched mine yesterday. It'll probably arrive Friday.

I preorderd from HMV and it was dispatched yesterday, so hopefully I should get it tomorrow.

PLAY.com are TERRIBLE. At least for me. I NEVER EVER get games from them on a friday, the 3 times in the last year i've bought games i've gotten them tuesday following WEEK. One of those games was Dead Space 2. Shopto is great although i still haven't gotten LA NOIRE yet. I usually get stuff from shopto delivered wednesday or thursday rarily Friday(Release Date). Play don't even give you the option of paying for 1st class shipping which they SHOULD DO FOR GAMES.

PC City (Sweden) sure delivers. Got mine today, a day ahead, and no shipping costs. Gotta love that.

Shopto.net dawg! ALWAYS ALWAYS get me game 2 days early without fail. And they are always cheaper! Never used Game ever again.

I ordered form Amazon; got it delivered to my door yesterday. Got to love getting games early.

I've used GAME for years and they've ALWAYS got the game sent the day before delivery. I've already played a couple hours and yeah..this game is something else!

Preordered mine from Shopto. Arrives Saturday or Monday because Friday is a holiday in Denmark.

I'm in Norway, and they sent the game early the 16th of may. But 17th of may is the Norwegian constitution day and there are no postmen working. And now the tracking hasn't registered any locations after it's been sent.

I'm in France and I got the game yesterday

For anyone dubious about ShopTo, it's looks really shady but they offer an incredible service. Next day free delivery on everything, pre-orders always arrive a day early and they often have the best prices on the internet. Switch to them, never look back.

Play.com are have never missed a release date for me, lets hope it arrives tomorrow.

I've not long got home and I have my copy already, cheers Game and the Royal Mail and I didn't pay any extra postage or packaging. Just goes to show that paying extra doesn't always pay off.

Took the day off foolishly expecting the Royal Mail to actually deliver something on the correct day. This has happened the last 3 times I've ordered from Amazon, I don't know why I keep doing it. It's like tipping the barber after getting a shit haircut.
