Story
Chigaco in 1920 Larcen idolized crime bosses and street lords. When he was young, he worked for one of the most powerful crime bosses, Mr. Taglalini. Larcen became one of the world's best cat-burglars, and also learned the Shaolin martial art Praying mantis kungfu.
Mr. Taglalini gave Larcen jobs that got other crime bosses in trouble by planting evidence. The only thing Larcen wouldn't do is assassinate, instead, he subdued the targets.
In his last job, he was just told to plant evidence in some selected location, but it turns out it was a hospital room where the police chief was recovering from an assassination attempt, from some other crime boss. Larcen realizes he's been set up and he knew right away the package was a bomb to finish the assassination and him with it. On attempting to throw the bomb out the window, the bomb goes off killing him, The Police Chief, and the children's wing in the hospital.
Ending
When he returned, without hesitation he threw the bomb out the window. Larcen was detained by the police guards that were in front of the room, instead of taking him to jail, the Police Chief offered Larcen a job to be a member of SGTF(Special Government Task Force) that fight against Crime.
Without second-guessing it, Larcen accepts the offer and after a few months Larcen and the task force have taken down Taglalini's organization. Larcen is now head of the SGTF and is now going after international cartels and is The major reason Organized crime is gone forever.
Trivia
- Larcen was one of the primary characters in Sonic the Comic's (UK) Eternal Champions stories.
- Larcen's sprites were edited to make the secret satrical character "Senator" in Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side.
- Larcen was also featured in his own game, entitled "Chicago Syndicate". This side scroller takes place in an alternate reality in which he does not die.
