    Maids, or maidservants, can be either a female domestic servant employed as a housekeeper, or a member of a hotel's cleaning staff.

    Maids in Japanese culture, particularly anime and anime-style games, are very often used for cheesecake purposes. The stereotypical French maid uniform is common as an alternate costume for female fighting game characters.
