Mass Effect 2
Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 26, 2010
After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
If They put Tali's Face in Mass Effect 3?
Yeah. Tali was disappoint. I had got on the romance path with Tali early on, so I spent like 10 hours of gameplay eagerly anticipating the quarian reveal. Then you just end up taking off her mask and the screen goes black. Come on! I should be able to get an alien chick naked in every Mass Effect game." I think it was be underwhelming because I've hyped it up to much for myself. "
Also, to the above poster, that's probably an accurate representation of Tali, from what I've seen through her visor.
"When I start my Male Shepard file, I'm going for Tali for sure! She better be in ME3 and they BETTER show her damn face! I have a feeling that it's going to be kind of a bluish grey humanoid face. I think it'll look pretty normal. "
There was one scene I had with her where you could make out the basic structure of her face which seem really normal looking from a human perspective
" @CL60: Well, she must tolerable, physically speaking, since your Shepard is totally about hitting that. I assume she was your love interest in Mass Effect? "Sadly, she was not able to be a love interest in the first game.
Though, we are together now. We have been through so much and I love her. She is beautiful. We will make this work! ;(
"Do we have any reason to believe that her face will be humanoid? "
If you look through the helmet clearly it shows some human characteristics. Like eyes and nose in the center of the face. So, yea.
To the "chicken feet and three fingers" haters, I present to you a list of everything everyone of us is thinking but not saying.
- Tali's accent is super exotic and cute.
- Tali's nervous bumbling during the romance, is also cute.
- The bends in Tali's legs + sex = abundant positions.
- Tali is packing some thighs and ass.
- Tali, like everything else in Mass Effect, is also packing sizable breasts.
" To the "chicken feet and three fingers" haters, I present to you a list of everything everyone of us is thinking but not saying. Those reasons you listed are the exact reasons I chose her as my romance figure. lol Also in part I feel bad for the quarian's because of the suits they live in and how much of a secluded life they must live while being in those suits sometimes.

If they really show Tali's face, they damn well better make her look super "alien". People demanded romance options with her, despite her odd shape, chicken feet, and three-digit hands. These people signed on to fuck an alien when they had no idea what her face was like. Bioware should force gamers to confront the odd and risky choice that they made by making her very weird looking. "Ha! This is what you wanted fuckers! Weep in the reality of your choice! Not every alien is beautiful and humanoid!" The Quarians are similar to the Turians in diet and body-type, so they should at least be that ugly, even though some people want to bang Garrus, too.
This will piss people off, however, or make them re-evaluate their choices, and I don't think it's what they want to do with this series. Mass Effect is about sci-fi B-movie wish-fulfillment: saving the universe, punching reporters, and banging weird alien trim. They're not going to punish you for playing "Captain Kirk".
Based off what little you can see under the mask, and the slight Arabic dialect and aesthetic of the Quarian culture, I think they were always meant to be fairly humanoid, but I want them to bait-and-switch shippers, and I don't think they have the guts. Odds are, she'll wind up looking something like Midna's true form from Twilight Princess, but purple.
I think you nailed that one...." I'd like to think of Tali as the "Wilson" of the Mass Effect universe. And Wrex as "Al." "
I don't really care, because Tali..... well, she was more fleshed out as a character in ME2, but in ME1, I got her and then NEVER used her or spoke to her... ever.
In regards to her appearance, I hope she doesn't look human. Look, I'm aware of the principle of convergent evolution, in which certain species will evolve in similar ways either due to a shared environmental pressure or due to the limitations of biology. But I really hope she doesn't look like a human with a funny forehead or different coloured skin.
As much as I like the Mass Effect Universe (and I like it a lot), I was really disappointed with the Asari - seriously, Blue Humans? Blue Female Humans? I know the fiction tries to explain it away, saying that every species thinks the Asari look like them, but come on, clearly they're just blue humans, and that was disappointing. I can handle the fact that most species are bipedal, or have only two eyes (except with the Batarians and Rachni), but I want my aliens to be more.... well... ALIEN!
The Quarians, despite being bipedal, are more "alien" than the Asari, and I hope they don't say "Hey, they look like humans with a different skin tone and, I dunno, weird eyes! Ain't that cool!?", because it wouldn't be. It would just be boring. The Asari are boring - not their fiction, but their appearance. Hell they even have lips. Their faces are EXACTLY like human faces, the only "strange" thing about them is their hair.
But in actual response to your question, I don't think they'll ever show Tali's face, although they'll probably show what Quarians look like eventually.
Why do you guys keep putting her down? There is no reason for her to be ugly. lol All the female characters you get in your squad in both games, are all hot. So why should they make a Tali ugly?

That fan art is best I've seen, and if she does happen to look like that. I'm glad to have her as my romance figure for the series.
I don't really care. The only thing going for her is her mystique though, so take that away and she's just another alien chick to bone.
I heard Tali's face is a mirror that reflects your soul back at you. If you are pure of heart you will gain a permanent glow but if you are filled with bad intent you will age 40 years and your skin will become wrinkly and leathery like George Hamilton's scrotum.
In the first Mass Effect, I couldn't care less about Tali, but when I played ME2, while I liked pretty much every character, I liked her a lot so when I played through again just a few days ago for the first time on PC I made her be Shepard's girl instead of my previous choice with Miranda on the 360 version. I like Jack a lot, but realistically speaking, she's cooler as a friend. Anyways, as for the face. I can't tell whether they'll try and be funny and add a horrendous looking Tali if you chose her to be with you or not, or make her the best looking female (or male, uh oh) character in the game. I hope she looks good because she's an awesome character.
I hope it's normal humanoid with not to much more than maybe a 3rd eye or flesh dreds like Twileks and Asoka from Clone Wars. I'll be very, "man wtf" if she looks like predator, especially considering that I slept with her and she mounted me face-to-face so I might have had to see her face for the bulk of the time.
They have no reason not to show it. lol Not one main female character in the game isn't bad looking. Plus, like what one of the guys said in one of the earlier post(might have been somewhere else I read too). Bioware does know what she looks like, so they have no reason to hide her face for the next game imo." My Sheppard would not have screwed some disgusting alien. Bioware have to show her face (they're not dicks) and it has to be at least somewhat attractive. "
It should have happened in ME2, if they were going to show it.
I don't see much of a reason for them to do it in the third, just because people want to see it. It would ruin what people find so attractive about her and would instantly be disappointing.
I say keep it hidden.
" I don't really care, because Tali..... well, she was more fleshed out as a character in ME2, but in ME1, I got her and then NEVER used her or spoke to her... ever.Convergent evolution is a convenience for lazy scifi aliens like Star Trek and about half the shit in Mass Effect. A blue human with some shit in their hair is always going to be less interesting than an alien that actually looks alien.
In regards to her appearance, I hope she doesn't look human. So I was late to the party concerning Mass Effect and played through 1 and 2 in the last five weeks. I didn't get with anyone specifically because I knew I was getting with Tali in ME2. Damn right I want to see her face. Don't care about specifics, just want a face for the name and personality.
