Mass Effect 2 Weapons DLC Out Today
" Zero interest in this. Why don't they just hold the DLC for a month or two a piece, then sell it all as one big pack for more money? Even if the overall cost remained the same, I know that I would instinctively feel better about buying a couple big and bloated DLCs than a bunch of tiny and insignificant ones. "Here's one reason. I have the game on the 360 and thanks to Microsoft's screwed up way of doing business, I have an oddball amount of Microsoft dollars in my account. Less than 400 which is where the cheapest games usually reside, and I refuse to spend it on avatar clothing, so it sits there unspent. Then something like this comes along and I am saved. I can put some of my MS points towards this and enjoy the content. Bioware gets paid now off a block of points I bought back at the start of the year and I get to enjoy some new weaponry.
I still have one more playthrough in me, and I'll get this when it's time to do that. A shortage of equipment was one of the game's shortcomings. That's a ways off, though, for when Bioware starts talking ME3. There aren't even whispers yet.
These new weapons are actually quite nice. Those top three original weapons are quickly losing their shine.
The bones to weapons ratio is crazy!? How do they continue business with prices this low? I am flabbergasted.
" Is it balanced for Multiplayer? "Firewalker was kind of like a "dry dun" for a new vehicle and expansive areas.
Overlord and Stolen Memory seems to be testing out new forms of storytelling (forgot where I read that)
Every other ME2 DLC was guns or armor. Then there's that "Project Wombat" thing on Christina Norman's tweet. Could all this be leading to multiplayer in my ME3? Oh no!
Might get it when the Liara DLC is out... oh, who am I kidding? I will get it when the Liara DLC comes out.
The Liara DLC is the one I'm interested in...
More weapons aren't really that necessary, even though 160 points is a pretty reasonable price.
Might get it if I have some "leftover points" sometime.
I'll probably pick it up at some point, although it seems like kind of odd timing for a weapons pack. I'm not going to pick it up until I'm in the mood to roll through the game again.
I bought these on a whim yesterday and I have to say that these are all nice. I've been spending a lot of time with the Mattock, in particular. Rather pleased with these.
