Mass Effect 3 to (Finally) Support Same-Sex Love Interests
There should be an option for him to take care of himself. "Don't come in, I'm scanning planets!"This.
My only problem with this, is why Bioware all of a sudden feels like there needs to be "gayness" in everything they do now. I mean, not every movie out there has a gay main character, or even a gay side character. Sometimes a movie comes out where there is no homosexuality in it whatsoever. Sometimes a movie comes out that's all about homosexuality. At times it has both, other times it has neither.
Point being, not everything has to have homosexuality, and I'm not sure why Bioware thinks it does. They must have higher ups that are gay or something, right? Or they are being paid gobs of money by GLAAD to look like they support gays.
The other ridiculous thing is the fact that all of a sudden Shepherd is gay? We go through two lengthy games where he shows no signs of homosexuality, and in fact is a lot like a "Han Solo" type character that is lovin the ladies. Yet all of a sudden in Mass Effect 3 there are going to be people that come along that make him want to be gay? I mean come on people...
i dont want gay people hitting on me when walking down the street doing my thing
Yeah I don't think that's going to be a problem, guy.
@Applederp said:Yep, exactly... I hate how I'd sneeze, and accidentally hit a button, and now all of a sudden I'm straddling Anders face.I'm by no means a homophobe, but I really hope they do this better than it was in Dragon Age 2It was SO ANNOYING when I'm trying to be friendly to Anders and suddenly LOL LETS FUCK.THIS!!!!!
I quit playing that game partly because of how contrived the homosexual romance stuff was.

Sometimes a movie comes out that's all about homosexuality. At times it has both, other times it has neither. This isn't a movie, it's a video game. It is a video game where you play a character who is modeled off of the player's behaviors. If a player wants a gay character they should not be restricted from that choice. Also, "no signs of homosexuality?" Really? What signs are you looking for?

*crosses fingers for m/m Kaiden fling*
People complained about this? That's a little ridiculous. Not that I mind this, nor should anyone because you can simply ignore it if you want to, but it seems a little stupid that people complained about this.
Could not care less either way, because clearly the issue we should all care about is whether Bioware will finally wise up and stop having crew members wear their battle armour around the ship every day. Shepard doesn't do it, so take a few hours of dev time and give everyone actual clothes to wear when you walk around your ship. Just sayin.
@Brendan:The sad thing is that addressing both of our issues would take a few guys like a day or two, but, sadly, they probably will not be.Nuh uh. The REAL issue is giving us an option to wear helmets that DON'T APPEAR DURING CUTSCENES."FemShep, I feel such closeness to you when I look into the glowy eyes of your Limited Collector's Edition Collector Helmet."
im glad they have done this, but i really hope they make a way of being nice to someone without suddenly flirting. the way male- female relationships are shown in game is kinda disturbing and if every relationship is going to be like that it would be a shame.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST JUST MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY AND MAKE SEXUAL PREFERENCE A CHOICE AT THE BEGINNING WHEN YOURE BUILDING YOUR CHARACTER. CHICKS DUDES BOTH OR NEITHER
AND YEAH CALL ME A HOMOPHOBE YOU FUCKING PC BITCHES BUT IN DRAGON AGE 2 I HAD ANDERS COMING ONTO ME LIKE BOGS FUCKING DIAMOND FROM SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION AND THAT BULLSHIT PUT ME OFF HIS CHARACTER ALTOGETHER
