Shotgun is definitely good for a kill at 20 to 30 feet if you're only using one so you can aim properly. The problem would be that you're running around with two...which is retarded to begin with. "

True, but the spread of a shotgun slug during skeet shooting is very wide. A clay/disc getting hit is usually hit by a few pellets, not the whole thing. It is arguable and I don't know the exact medical damage but I wouldn't say that the amount of pellets getting to a person from that distance would be enough to kill them. But, as we know, this is Call of Duty, the pinnacle for war simulations, right? "

#MW2 PS3 patch just went live! Includes the Akimbo 1887s re-balancing, fix for Prestige hack, & fix for Public "private" Match. 360/PC soon
 
The Xbox 360 version will be getting the same, just waiting on ETA on it's release. PC gets same plus fix for hacked textures & altered IWDs

I played a match before; team deathmatch on Wasteland. I picked up some in the bunker and and just camped at the entrance, picking dudes off as they ran in. As much as I hate them, damn they're fun to use. 

there's really no problem with them. I just think they accidentally put them in the shotgun category when clearly they should be under sniper rifles

This will be cool, I love me some MW2 and his was pretty much my only real gripe with the game. They were pretty annoying to face. Also that gif is the best thing I've ever seen.

im sorry you guys never noticed, but the accuracy of guns in COD games have always been extremely unrealistic.

Shit. Akimbo 1887's were pretty neat if you got the chance to have them. Why does everyone hate them anyways, i mean you only had them for 3 levels anyways, then you lose them when you prestige.
