Hmm, the bubble seems sorta broken. Looks like it basically gives you juggle without counting towards juggle-limit. Same thing goes for the lightning too, seems to come out really fast and gives a HUGE juggle. Atleast it seems like you can't completely reset with the bubble though, which would just be horrible.

I think, even as a pretty shite player, that he's great. In the hands of someone with a bit of skill, he'll be devastating. His ability to set up and then hit the opponent into combos is near obscene.

I'm not a very proficient player, so all I can really say is that from what I've fiddled around with he feels pretty fun to use, possibly the most fun of the three characters released so far.

Its honestly crap that none of my friends buy dlc and I have no way to test Rain out, I hate paying for a character I potentially don't like playing (because of his controls, Rain himself is one of my fav MK chars).

Well, I guess we need rain or crops couldn't grow, but man does it ever make a day seem like a bummer...

I really love it, but the connection issues have just been getting worse and worse for me. Shame that I never really got to use any of the dlc characters I paid extra for.

He is pretty beastly.  Teleports,  a projectile trap,  anti air moves  a X-ray that is beyond easy to combo in and out of  I mean  dare I say he might be a bit broken.  I'm  only  a pretty average player however.

He's okay. I can manage some very basic combos with him. His xray is only useable at the end of a combo, good luck hitting someone who's moving around.

He's definitely... good (?), but I doubt he will stay that way and they will "balance" him eventually after people spend all there money on him, cause you know, they wouldn't make money off a lame character. lol

I like him, but I'm having a harder time comboing with him than I did with Kenshi. Hopefully I'm just sucking and will get better with him.

I don't really like him. He's just not clicking with me. I'm sure I could get a hang of him if I took the time but my initial impression is that he's not for me.

I'm no good with him.

Really, I haven't found it with any of the DLC characters. Their inputs, I feel, are too tricky for a fighting game-simpleton like myself.

But I've seen some footage online of a beastly Rain already. And it's insane what he's capable of.

Anyone else having an issue with Rain where you attempt to chain his lightning in a combo but, despite accurately inputting the command, can only get him to do his teleport kick?

Really frustrating. Would be a little vindicating to know I'm not the only one.

He's a helluva dancer. Nah, seriously, though: I've only played through his Story Mode, and I'm having a tough time using him, even against the AI. I see the appeal, and I see the potential, he's got an obscene amount of combos and he actually seems, for lack of a better phrase, customizable. Like if you want to play him a certain way, he'll adjust. I'd make a "fluid" joke, but someone beat me to it (someone beat me to the Korean pop-star joke too, but I'm not letting that image go to waste).
