    Mortal Kombat!

Mortal Kombat is a very messy and gory game... and its damn fun this game looks great and play's even better back to the classic two d game style of the original 3 games some could say Mortal Kombat is back and even better.

As far as the story line goes its one of the best stories I have seen in a fighting game... ever switching between scenes without loading times this game looks great.

As far as the story Raiden is about to be killed by Shao Kahn, and just before he delivers the last blow, he [Raiden] sends a mental message to his earlier self, and the camera rewinds back to Mortal Kombat 1. The Raiden from Mortal Kombat 1 then gets the message and experiences a premonition. The game then spans Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3, retelling the story with an enlightened Raiden, who has changed the course of events. Eventually, everything you've seen happen before - Liu Kang winning, the guys turning into cybernetic ninjas, has been altered. You might see a cybernetic character who wasn't before, and a different version [of events].

The story is not the only available thing if you want more classic arcade style endings there are more classic latter style game play.

Mortal Kombat cannot go without talking about the crypt. The crypt is where you put coins in and you get stuff in return, whether it is different costumes for each character or their second fatality, or even different game play modes. The test your luck game mode cannot go without. It takes all of the game play modes that you unlock and puts them all in a roll of the wheel you can do headless kombat, stage moves upside down, of my favorite armless kombat, The only down side to the crypt is its hard to move around and when I finished the story mode I had more than enough coins to spend and unlock goodies.

The online is much like Mortal Kombat Vs. DC in the way of you got a room where fighters can chat and challenge others to battles. There is the classic ranked and unranked matches, there is also the king of the hill mode where up to eight fighters can do a round robin style winner moves up and loser goes to the back of the line.

Now let's talk about combat it's what you want to see in a Mortal Kombat full of juggling combos and kicks. Some of the moves can feel over the top at times but they pay off in the end. Fatalities are back and some better than others are worth seeing some of the greater ones can feel over the top but scorpion if you want to cut a dude in half then chop his head in half more power to you!

Over all Mortal Kombat is the great gory game and its always fun to grab a buddy and beat the ever loving crap out of him then rip his skull off, I give it a 4.5/ out of 5.

Also if you don't like this review leave a comment telling me how to improve for the future. Thanks!   Most fighting game fans can probably remember which of the entries into the Mortal Kombat franchise is their favorite. However, as a close converse to that, many can probably also remember which one(s) are the worst. I don’t think its cliché to liken the experience of g...

Get Over Here...and play Mortal Kombat! 0

Mortal Kombat 2011 Mortal Kombat comes back strong and hard for its ninth installment titled simply Mortal Kombat. This game is somewhat of a reboot to the Mortal Kombat Franchise both in terms of story and gameplay; not only do you relive/change the events of the story for the first three Mortal Kombat games but it also returns to its 2D fighting style. The story begins after the events of Mortal Kombat Armageddon. As Shao Kahn is about to finish Raiden off, he sends a message to his past sel...
