    Overview

Mythic Wonders: The Child of Prophecy is a hidden object adventure game developed by Organic 2 Digital and published by Big Fish Games for Mac and PC.

    Story

A baby is left on the doorstep of The Tsu Castle in Japan in 1606. A mysterious indecipherable scroll is left next to the child. The protagonist can not read the scroll so she tucks it away. The protagonist decides to raise this child as her own and calls him Nobu. She also discovers that Nobu has some kind of strange marking on his hand.

Five years pass and the protagonist is summoned to the castle. She leaves Nobu for only a few minutes when he is kidnapped. It is now up to the protagonist to search for whoever stole Nobu and figure out what they are after.

    Gameplay

Mythic Wonders: The Child of Prophecy is played using a point-and-click style that has players finding objects and solving puzzles by clicking on them. The game is made up of different locations which are represented by single, mostly static screens. Important objects needed to solve other puzzles are obtained by finding them in the environments or by receiving them as a reward for completing a puzzle or hidden object scene.

The hidden object scenes in Mythic Wonders: The Child of Prophecy are not all the same type. Some of them are the traditional hidden object style in which players are given a list of items at the bottom of the screen and must click on them in the scene.

Other types include a series of silhouettes at the bottom of the screen that has players trying to find the item that fills it in, or finding objects in the scene that morph from one object to another.
