N the Ninja is the small, energetic ninja that we know from the N series. While he has no true name, he has taken on the title N, named after the Way of the Ninja. The true meaning for N is the way of the Ninja. This means moving at break-neck speeds, being the main target for missiles and lasers, collecting gold to live one second longer, and having the average life span of about a minute and a half. In the two games, and soon four games, that N is featured in, he is always trying to collect the most gold, get the switch, and leave for the next level. Even though the standard color is black, as you defeat 10 episodes at a time, in N, you get several different "flavors", or colors for N. In N-plus , however, you only need five levels at a time.
