    Omega Metroid is the final boss of Metroid Fusion.

    The Omega Metroid is encountered by Samus as she escapes the BSL research station. When she first encounters it, it slashes her, and makes her collapse. As it is about to finish her off, the SA-X rushes in and begins attacking it. It quickley dispatches the SA-X, and when the vulnerable parasite is released, Samus jumps up and grabs it, recoving a new power suit and the Ice Beam. With that, she is able to defeat the Omega Metroid, and after she does so, Adam flies he ship back into the docking bay, allowing her to escape before the station self destruct is activated.
