    Overview

    Outlanders is an action RPG, sort of a mix between Dragon Quest and the original Legend of Zelda, where the player controls an Earthling named Wakatsuki Tetsuya as he attempts to escape an alien planet.

    The game is based on a moderately famous manga named Outlanders - specifically an OVA that was released a few months prior to this game's release. The general theme is that of the "magical girlfriend" anime popularized by Tenchi Muyo and Urusei Yatsura. When aliens attack his home planet Wakatsuki Tetsuya is quickly apprehended by, and then forced to deal with the romantic advances of, the princess of the alien empire.
