So every so often i buy a game because i loved the original, i hate the new version for a while, then when i revist it after some extensive patching it's amazing. I feel this way concerning S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. Now, i don't think it will ever live up to Shadow of Chernobyl, and some people would argue that it's a cult classic, but my point is, anyone out there that hasn't given this serious a try should give it a second chance. Anyways, are there any other games with that Love Hate Love relationship?

i love playing Resident evil 1 - not played no.2 and i hated no.3 - play no.4 and decided to give res 3 anougher go, next thing i knew i was playing res 3 quite alot, Mercenarys more then the story ;) and now im actually rather fond of res 3

I played Silver ground my friends all them years ago...

Was Total Annihilation, Roller Coaster Tycoon and Silver we were addicted to.
