    Now I can re download all my Mass Effect 2 dlc to my new PS3 and purchase the extended warranty because my new PS3 gets loud and I am worried it is going to break... woo hooo...

    Yeah I was so bummed out. I'm not a rabid gamer that plays everyday for about 5 hours a day so I'm not going through withdrawals or anything, more bummed out that it was a 80GB backwards compatible with 4 usb ports and the memory card readers. (Yes I actually would use all those extra features) I also dislike the look of the Slim. Waiting for E3! Praying for a price drop!!!

    Yeah, I lost my 60 gig.  :/
    We all just had withdrawal symptoms from missing several hundred Rock Band songs if I'm honest. Those extra USB ports sure helped with the umpteen instruments that need plugging in. Borrowing my brother's slim at the moment, hoping for a price drop also!

    @fisk0: That's what I've been wondering too.  I've checked whether I have the 30 days of PS+ by adding PS+ exclusives to the cart and I keep getting told about needing to subscribe.  I wonder if that's the part of the "Welcome Back" program they don't have up-and-running yet.   Not having had PS+ before, I kind of wanted to use these 30 days to test it out.

    Now I kind of wonder, if I were to sign up for PS+ right now, would I get the 60 days extended subscription that existing members get, or just 30 days that everyone else gets.
    They had the condition that you had to be a registered PSN user before the outage to get the welcome back stuff, wondering if that same condition exist for PlayStation+ subscribers - only those who were directly affected by the outage get the bonus days?

    I got error messages as PSN tried to access the error message I was getting
