Sony Details PlayStation Network's 'Welcome Back' Plan
Sweet, i only borrow InFamous and my buddy has since traded it in so I wanted to get it second hand but this is even better.
thats the point. Offer stuff that most people already own or the select few that don't, wouldn't have bought anyway. Sony still gets to say they made good on the situation without really doing anything for many/most of its users.
This is a really weak list. Free is free sure, but if they wanted to REALLY make good, they'd offer something a bit more. . . or at least, a larger library.
The lack of M.A.G. seems like a big oversight. I'm sure that game isn't doing too well anymore and giving it for free would help get people to use their PS3 online again.
:D YAY
Good on Sony for giving out decent games instead of garbage.
Definitely picking LitteBigPlanet and Infamous.
I'm assuming sales must have shown that a copy of MAG sold within the last six months? ;PThe lack of M.A.G. seems like a big oversight. I'm sure that game isn't doing too well anymore and giving it for free would really help rejuvenate the PS3 online community.
it makes sense they wouldnt give out non first party games, doesn't make sense to give other people's games away for free
@Hef the only thing is we don't have the network yet unlike the states... but at least we get games.
Free stuff is cool, would of been nice for them to help someone that was fucked by psn being down like aksys
WOW I did not realize what STUPID high expectations people had for this FREE content offer. you don't get shit for free these days i was really happy that for one, these games are decent and two, you get to keep them forever and three, everyone gets TWO PS3 and TWO PSP games.
so far we don't even know if this attack was sony's fault shit gets hacked, i had other accounts hacked in my life and you know what i got for it... not a damn thing.
Sony's response time was a little off but 4 free games for something that was not there fault is pretty good compensation.
Exactly. This is a wonderful gesture on the part of Sony. I never had any CC info saved to PSN in the first place, but I've ended up with some free games, and other miscellaneous stuff. Works for me!Ugh, at the people with their complaining.
I wouldn't have minded if they gave us combustible lemons. So we could burn the hackers' houses down.
I wouldn't have minded if they gave us combustible lemons. So we could burn the hackers' houses down.Dude, I'm on board with that plan :D
Well that sucks. LBP is the only one of those games that interest me.Are you serious. They are giving away free shit. Yeah it sucks that PSN was out. Shit happens. Infamous without popping in the disk. LBP just the same. they didn't have to give us free shit. don't punch a gift horse in the mouth. also Shit.
wow thats pretty damn good. il take me some Infamous and little big planet please. aww fuck sony i already forgave you. im buying LA noire tonight on the PS3 even knowing the fact that i cant download the DLC yet. but lack of disc swapping is going a long way for me right now.
Dead Nation and Infamous it is then, I have all the others (and I've played through all of Infamous, which I nearly bought recently as it is). Oh and I have a PSP on a shelf somewhere don't I, well then, any of those PSP ones are good, but LBP is a standout there I suppose.
Free games because a free service was down a few weeks and incessant whining, bitching and complaining.
