I have played Xbox for years but mostly stuck with single players games. Just now started playing some #IDARB and thought it would be much better with friends but most of my buddies are either still on Xbox 360 or don't play much Xbox. So, any UK-based Xbox One people out there wanting to play some #IDARB among other things?
Yeah, I was going to skip 3D as I just don't think I'd actually use the 3D often enough.
Size-wise, it actually doesn't need to be all that big as I tend to sit fairly close while playing. I currently have a 36" and it's fine. Just want something that gives me a high-quality image without costing me the earth.
The other slight complication is that I live in the UK, therefore any Superbowl sales don't affect me. There should be some sales after the World Cup but I didn't want to wait until July really.
Since buying my Xbox One, I have quickly come to the realisation that my TV is no longer good enough. I figure, I spent a tonne of money on the Xbox One and the image quality I'm getting is pretty poor. For example, FIFA 14 looks better on my friends Xbox 360 and his tv than it does on my Xbox One on my tv.
Basically, I'm asking what are the key features I need to look out for when buying a TV that is pretty much used for gaming only?
I have been using my Xbox One controller for the past month most days and have really enjoyed using it but couldn't really work out the major differences but over the Xmas break I have started playing my 360 again (due to lack of new titles on the XB1). When you switch between the two after adapting to the Xbox One controller, I found that it felt completely different. The Xbox 360 controller feels much smaller and compact but also heavier less precise. The new sticks on the XB1 controller feel much better and the weighting feels significantly better.
All round, just a better controller. Not revolutionary, just better.
