Hopefully the Close Quarters maps will be better laid out so that there isn't just a giant cluster fuck in the middle, I'm looking at you Metro. I'm really looking forward to the Armored Kill expansion though.
I actually did this recently with my ps3, because my hard drive was starting to fail. You can just put the new one in and you can re download all your games and add-ons. Once the hard drive is reformatted you can then re sync it with your account and get all you trophy data again, and re download the games.
Also if there are a few save files that you want to keep you can do what i did. Just take any flash drive and plug it in and transfer the few files you want to keep. The down side to this is you can't transfer copyright protected files (like ME2 save profiles) like you could if you backed up the hard drive. But it should work for most games files.
EDIT: I just checked to see what hard drive you bought. Its actually the same exact one i bought. Been using it since April and haven't had any problems with it at all. Hope you enjoy the larger hard drive space :D
Also if you buy the Ultimate you look like a bad ass since it has not lettering on the keyboard. Something about that just makes it much more cool. Plus if your currently a college student I'm pretty sure they offer a slight discount.

That's why you shouldn't buy one of their games for the pc. I have never had a problem with any of their games on the ps3, and I still plan to pick up Revelations when it comes out.
The reason you got placed into Bronze was because your MMR was that of a Bronze player. It means that you could have been demoted anyways if the season didn't just end. Did you go on a really bad losing streak before the reset or something?
Just keep playing and you should get back up into silver.
