Super bummed that Austin is leaving, because he was such a fresh and interesting addition to the crew that I truly believe was needed at the site, and made the (B)east coast lineup an all-star team. But, also super excited for whatever he does next and I wish that duder the best!

I absolutely loved the memoriam segment, because I think there is some nostalgia for me when gaming stuff goes by the wayside.
The grocery haul video was awesome too...made me want to go back and watch the 404ing it panels from PAX(s) with the GB staff (@patbaer is the man!).
However, I was a little sad to see the group gaming segment go away that occurred at the end of each GOTY video like in years past. I thought the times when they played games all together in a quick look sorta way produced some of the best moments on the site for me, especially when the staff is so spread out now and is rarely in the same place (particularly, the Trackmania 2, Super Smash Bros Wii U, and Singstar episodes stand out as being special). I missed this feature in this year's videos but I really liked all the features and new stuff this year, and the takes on YouTube were just perfect. Thanks Giant Bomb <3
Watching Austin's segment, I was thinking the whole time: "Is he actually gonna build that whole thing?"...and I'm super impressed (and glad) he did! Great Day 1. Alex's pt 2 was incredible. Can't wait to see the rest of the dudes.
