This was a great read. I would be 100% ok with scored reviews being gone (in general), but I hope the staff still writes about stuff. I love reading what y’all have to say, and it doesn’t matter if it has some larger point; it’s just fun to hear your thoughts. Maybe if you want to expand on a point brought up in a Bombcast that you sort of ran out of time for?

Also, not surprised this is the game that broke Reviews given how incredibly toxic the online discussion has been around it. Makes me glad I can just turn it off instead of needing to deal with it as part of my job.

@diet_hellboy Don't worry, you're not alone. I think this was one of the most brutal albums covered on the show so far. It stretched a single joke across 55 minutes, and I didn't think it was a particularly good joke from the start.

(Also, I love the extra stuff at the end! Giant Bomb: digging that hole deeper with the Italian-American community, Alex or no Alex!)

I love how obvious it was Alex regretted his side bet the instant he made it. How Dan manages to get everyone to agree to stuff like that never ceases to amaze me.

I was in high school in Baltimore during the Bakalar "meet Good Charlotte's mom" years, and I had no idea why they were so goddamn popular amongst my peers until today. Mannnn did I hate their singles, and boy oh boy did DC 101 and HFS play them on fucking loop.

"40 Oz. Dream" was terrible, one of the worst things I've heard this year. It's bad enough we listened to Weezer already, now we've got counterfeit Weezer? It's not incompetent or explicitly irritating like Corey Feldman or Crazy Frog, but I'm with Katie in that this mediocrity with absolutely no reason to exist can be worse than those.

Imagining the Deli Gang and Cabbage Bois getting into back alley snappy finger fights a la West Side Story now.

Great start, now let’s all do what we can to persuade Jan to run the whole series!

I thought of three games when this series was announced, and this episode has two of them! Maybe Jeff G will play the ET game and complete the triad.
