So implying that certain games (and therefore gamedevelopers) are sexist and even misogynistics is the way to critic a game? Talking about how killing women in Hitman is an action that you are awared (and therefore encouraged to do). And that video games somehow change our social behaviour for the worse?
She is the female version of Jack Thompson, pseudoscience and filled with game situations that are taken out of context. Dishonesty at its worst. Granted, that doesn't justify all her harrasment and death theats, which funnily ironically has made her opinions even more widespread and populare.

Anita has recieved loads of critic about her arguments, but she doesn't adresse those, making it seem to many people that she is not here to have a discussion about women and gaming, but to forge a narrative in where only her opinion and her supporters are allowed to have a discussion.

How does the giantbomb staff feel about the "gamers are dead" articles? I think that is what I would be the most interested in hearing about.
You gotta admit that it feels weird seeing gaming sites attacking their own audience, making the trolls and assholes represent the regular gamer.
Even weirder that they all came out in the same time period.

Obviously I would never defend anyone getting harrased or recieve death threats for their opinions or actions.

But you gotta admit that you are walking a very thin red line when you see evidence or hints of people in the game and game "journalist" industry are sleeping with each other. That doesn't mean you should get harrased for it, but it does question whetever or not people know what those kind of actions would affect your judgements.

If anything, this has made the Escapist change their policy on how they write their articles, and even go as far as apologize for how they portrayed the Zoe Quinn and Wizardchan (or what it is called) article, that being it was very onesided.

I enjoyed the game, but for me it was obviously the weakest one in the series. The human combat parts were okei but could have been handled better.
The first one is one of my favorite games of all time. The 2nd game was an overall improvement, but it didn't click as much as the first one.

The fact that she is now some sort of face of gaming is extremly scary (winning ambassador award and somehow involved in Mirrors Edge 2).
