I would actually recommend playing the 2nd one first, now that I have finished the game.

Suffice to say, the stories in both of the games are kinda intertwined.

Hey giantbombi duder and duedetts. I got lucky and got the game about 4 days before the release date in my country, I just finished the story mode on the 3rd climax (the highest diffiiculty available on the get go). I am currently working on finding all the collectiables and playing tag climax, which is a lot of fun, and an easy way to farm halos.

A couple of advice.

- Play Bayonetta before you play the first one. Just trust me on this one :)

- Buy the bat and crow upgrade asap, lots of value here.

- If you have already played the first one, I recommend playing this one on the the third climax

- If you didn´t like the first game, whetever it be gameplay or the Bayonetta character/style, then this game is probably is not for you.

- The requirement for platinum ticket from Rodin is a lot higher than the last game, but farming halos is also a lot easier.

- The game is about as hard as the last one. Maybe the highest difficulty is a bit easier here than the last one.

- This game feels shorter than the first one. But that could be that I am more experienced with this type of game.

- The challenges that you find through the story mode are easier this time.

- Tag Complex has some secrets in them, so do take the time to try it out, every now and then.

I remember a lot of people giving Prince of Persia grief for not letting you die, with Elika always grabbing you moments from death and pulling you away from danger, but it was pretty much responsible for how deep I got into that game. Because there was never a point at which the game stopped and I had to restart, I kept going and really got into the game in a way I didn't usually. When I'd start dying in other, similar games, that'd usually be when I'd put the controller down, take it as a sign I needed to step away before I got frustrated. But PoP08 eliminated that, and one of the more frustrating parts of a game for me, and it really stuck with me, and it's probably why I look back on that game so fondly.

I agree 100%

"Phanton Menace is better than all of the Lord of The Rings movies"

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
Okey, Ryckert must be trolling at this point... :p

(I litterally heard this 2 min ago, and I just had to post this somewhere)

@vocalcannibal: I understand where you are coming from. That is not what I meant. I just simply trust the hiring process, because I have no real reason not to. Would it have been cool have a woman in the GB staff? Probably, I cannot say.
I am just trying so hard to understand the mentality of some of these more active people, to put it very nicely.
I have a foreign name in my home country, would it be right of me to say that I didn't get a job because the hiring guy must obivously hate foreginers? (not trying to say that the diversity people are saying that, just trying to compare a bit)

@tikimorpher: Dude, trust me. I am in no way defending what views she represent. I am simply asking how the GB staff felt about being called sexist or not including (implyed).

How did the staff react to that twitter user Samantha Allen when she got furious that Dan Ryckert got the job? Hey, I was sceptical to the man myself, but I have grown to love the man that is the Ryckert, he is truly something else.

I am not talking about when they denounced the threats she got, I remember that very well.

I am talking more about her comment in particular: "For my part, I'm through believing in "good guys." You're maintaining a homogeneous games criticism that's as boring as it is exclusionary... I'm done listening to promises of "next time" or waiting around for really talented minority writers to get little scraps.... The people in positions of privilege in this corner of the world have already decided how they want this thing to be. Game fucking over."

Are people really this serious with diversity, that they would almost rather have forced diversity, just for the sake of diversity?
I am all up for equal oppertunities, but I struggle so hard to see the side of people fighting for diversity, IN THIS MANNER.

@amir90: I don't agree with every criticism Anita makes about video games and its culture. I still respect her right to make them.

As do I Alex.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
