I bought a 55inch Samsung for 800 European bones mostly since I was furnishing my new place and decided I wanted a TV. I previously only had a projector. I run my pc through it at 1080p with game mode and there is no discernible lag. My reason for choosing 4k over 1080p was that it'll be easier to sell later instead of a comparable 1080p display going forward. But I might also upgrade to native 4k on my pc anyway.

HDR for me is a hard sell since its sort of a taste thing. Feels like an Instagram filter kind of situation though the deep OLED blacks are tempting. For now I am happy. If you can wait, wait, if not, it's never a good time to upgrade anyway. ;)

I disagree with Dan making a good addition to GBEast. Vinny already brings up the comedic slack there and adding another goofball will just lead to a goofy arms race.

Not to mention just imagine the Gundam talk Vinny and Austin had and imagine Dan there.

I think Dan thrives as an entertainer when he has someone to play off like Game Informer's Joe Juba. If you recall their Rocket League Us vs. Them:

"We’re not part of your weird asshole thing!"

Credit Jeff Gerstmann

Alex might know how to foil Dan, but not with the glee that someone like Joe Juba could do.

If your computer came with an OEM license and you upgraded to win 10 it will still be an OEM license, meaning it is tied to your motherboard. Not sure if you bought a Win7 with a key, what the upgrade path is. Ideally you could move that license to a new motherboard, but I have no experience with that personally.

I am not upgrading because currently it is not clear if user data collection is still active even with paid version. The same thing goes for in-OS ads. If XBOX one users experience this, I would like to know how you put up with this. It just seems like a bad strategy just because they decided that Win10 is the last version they will continuously update. I get the monetary reason, but PCs and PC gaming to a degree is about control and choice and that is not a factor right now. They trimmed some of the fat and modernized other aspects of the OS, but a lot is also being shuffled around and hidden and who knows the extent of how much users are being farmed without their knowledge.

We'll find out if this has personal reasons or is just to generate buzz around future events, but since we're all here, I would just like to say this:

I miss Austin and I miss Dave because they brought some PC gaming niche into GB which only Vinny sometimes does.

Dan to me always felt like an addition to broaden appeal, but I feel like that crowd will just move on. Whether he leaves or not, I do not feel like he is/was in service to GB, GB just became a platform for him. Which is weird cuz all the years I watched him at GI, it did not feel like that. I think Dan has great enthusiasm that the site needs, but the "horrible person" cult persona has become very tiresome to me. But maybe this is what he feels is right for him.

Anyway not to rant too much about the guy, for people who want something to hold them over till Monday, have this:

I don't know of any graphical tool to make that super easy and user safe, but using the commands outlined in this article should do the trick.

However make 100% sure that you select the correct disk lest you format your boot drive or some other plugged in usb device. http://www.howtogeek.com/235824/how-to-clean-a-flash-drive-sd-card-or-internal-drive-to-fix-partition-and-capacity-problems/

If you have data you want to recover from that drive, then stop any kind of write operation to it and report back, someone will surely know of some good tools you can use.

As I've gotten better at the game and watched streamers play it I got into the efficient running of the areas. So nothing was really frustrating. The way to Sir Alonne can be annoying to run quickly, but since that fight is more fun to not take damage to him, any damage you take before that can be ignored.

The only exception I would hazard to call objectively frustrating is horse fuck valley.

I disagree on the basis of what a lot of people have pointed out in this thread already. People who enjoy video games overall are not more sensitive online or IRL, but the contingent of gamers who bother formulating responses on message forums or comment sections are just naturally more inclined to be committed to that discussion/debate.

Teufeldolche is correct since Dolche is plural.

Teufelsdolche is similar to english where the 's' denotes possession and is still plural. I would say the possessive connotation would imply the daggers to belong to a certain named Devil. These are "The Devil's" daggers.
