Wow the idiocy is strong here. NFTs are a good thing, and inevitable, Im not going to get into that. As others have noted, the energy consumption is not related to blockchain as a whole, and a lot of mining is done on renewable sources because it is the cheapest. Also lets compare it to the USA cutting down millions of Acres of forest to print $1 bills, plus the energy to transport and create them, then literally burning them in a couple years when they wear out, rinse and repeat yearly.

@therealturk: They always do this. Controller that rests on its buttons, who cares? Bright light that shines directly into your screen, which you also can't turn off for some reason, no big deal. Angle the back of the console so adjusting cords becomes super frustrating, that would be funny. Ill still end up with one of these or a slim down the road, but man its frustrating.

@error52 I don't mean that its overly complicated, they just rearranged the pieces the way people weren't expecting, somewhat like a Demon's Souls did. People were not ready for the amount of movement they gave you in Titanfall, it looked like COD but doesn't play that way. Look at the more recent call of duty games that came out, they offer barely a shade of what Titanfall does. Titanfall is made to be played running around like crazy, which is a death sentence in COD.

This is why things like the bots were important, you were better off to run off looking for more action to reduce your timers than camp. Titanfall 2 rewards you for camping on a spot.

@kanerobot: I know, the maps in TF1 it was pilots and Titans all together, all hectic and fun. Now it feels like Pilots over here by these buildings and Titans over there in the fields.

I would really like to hear from people that did not like Titanfall who now like Titanfall 2, what did it for you?

"For my part, Titanfall 2 improves greatly upon the first game and stands up there alongside some of my favorite games in the Call of Duty franchise."

Thanks Jeff, all I need to know!

Unfortunately this is all I needed to know as well. The original Titanfall was NOT a Call of Duty game. The Beta unfortunately led me to believe that they had veered too far in that direction and this review confirms it.

I think that Titanfall was too far ahead of its time, some people just couldn't wrap their head around the mechanics, so they had to dumb it down. I look forward to Titanfall 3 when they actually advance the game again.

I have always thought Uncharted a vastly overrated but enjoyable series. I am okay with it being more of the same. Decent shooting, great eye candy graphics, and a ham fisted summer blockbuster plot all work well. Unfortunately it sounds like they haven't ditched the slow busywork climbing or the its plainly obvious what to do but its going to take me five minutes to do it puzzles. I will definitely be playing it in a few months.

You dont really need a reticle for a dual joystick shooter especially with auto aim, who puts aim assist in a DJS?!?!?!?! Then Jeff turns it all the way up? WTF is going on here!

Halfway through Act 2 on Hard I can say that this game is NOT a cover shooter. On hard you learn pretty quickly that you need to be using all your powers constantly. The guns are intentionally not very accurate and you don't take a lot of punishment. You need to be using that dodge all the time and I don't think Jeff used it once. I definitely think this is one of those times where playing at the appropriate difficulty would have given a better experience.

@africanprincerh: I agree and said earlier I wish Jeff wasn't the one to review this game. He clearly was not interested in this game going in and has not liked Remedy's style in the past.

People can stop freaking out. Jeff is an extremely personal reviewer and will knock something because he personally doesn't like it even if he acknowledges it might be "objectively good". He personally enjoyed The Division and gave it four stars but admits its not a good game.

As someone who thinks that Alan Wake is one of the most criminally underrated games, I really wish that Jeff hadn't been the one reviewing this. The kind of things that Remedy does have rubbed him wrong in the past and just watching his attitude in the quick look it appeared he didn't go in with an open mind. He seemed pretty uninterested before even playing it, but I will be interested to hear the rest of the staff's opinions. I will still be pre-ordering myself this weekend!!

Not to bash other peoples taste, but I am glad to see that Grow Home didnt really register. I personally thought it was easily the worst choice the GB crew made.
