Here's what I played when I was in your situation. Pretty much all puzzle-ish games that don't require any fast reaction times.

Knotwords (Hybrid of Crosswords, and Wordle)

Threes! (Numbers game)

10000000 & It's sequel; You Must Build a Boat (both are match three with lite RPG mechanics)

Imbroglio (Rogue lite that takes place on a 4x4 grid)

@finaldasa: ~90% That's quite the feat. I pretty much consume all the audio content since I can do that while commuting and (most of the time) listen while I work.

Video content is where I get a bit choosey. I mainly watch in the evening after dinner, and since I subscribe, I really prioritize the premium content.

@conmulligan: I'm pretty sure since the last update, but can't say for sure since I don't download videos that often. I did try force closing the app with no luck. FWIW I also tried uninstalling, and re-installing the app.

Noticed that downloaded videos aren’t showing up in the download tab.

Great app! Can I suggest having videos automatically going full screen when putting the phone in landscape mode?

Do you think he'd be into turn based stuff? If he hasn't played many games in the past I'd consider Into the Breach, XCom Enemy Unknown.

If not turn based maybe , Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, The Witness, Until Dawn

all of those games are pretty easy to play and probably pretty safe for most people who don't play games.

I use a Modmic 4 with a pair of Audio Technica headphones I already own. Got tired of having a pair of gaming headphones, and a regular pair I use for everything else.

If you're on console, you may need a Y adapter to plug it into the controller, but a $50 Modmic 4 + ~$10 adapter is cheaper than most dedicated gaming headphones, assuming you already have a pair you're willing to use.
