Makes sense since remakes/remasters of old stuff was probably easier to work on during the pandemic and can actually run ok on the Switch.

I mean yeah, it's rough but it's in early access and the game is like 20 bucks.

They do, because it's a great album.

It was everything after that kinda crap, and well that and metallica sticking around so long they became such a dad-rock band.

I don't mind that it's not the MCU likenesses.

They at least look like their own takes on the characters, or at least much more than in the Avengers game.

Well, and also because Chris Pratt is a shitty person.

Gwarsenio calling correctly that the list is actually overplayed songs of the 80s instead of worst.

I think it was probably born of necessity but yeah, I feel they'd generally get a better reception if they got introduced that way, and it makes it feel more like an actual part of giant bomb instead of something they're just hosting.

I always felt the paranoia thriller angle being misdirection was more interesting than if it had just played it straight.

Gone Home by the same devs had a similar genre twiist and I remember people complaining about that then too, and that game would have also been way less interesting if it had just played it the scary haunted house story straight.

Some educated guesses for the THQ event:

Gothic 1 remake (had a concept demo, and was already confirmed a while back)

Destroy All Humans 2 remake (teased a while back in a Destroy All Humans 1 remake accolade trailer I think)

Darksiders 4, it's been 3 years since the last one (the isometric one was made by the Battle Chasers team, who are currently doing the League of Lengends spinoff.)

A new Spongebob game. (being teased on twitter)

There'll be more but that could be a lot of things as they own a lot of franchises now and I'm not 100% what fall under THQ/Deep Silver etc.

The game is related to Tail Concerto, Solatorobo, Little Tail Story etc.

Yeah kinda, although Harrison definitely burned some goodwill phoning it for a while.

Also, only the first Mummy movie is close to being on par with the indy movies, well ok it's probably better than Temple of Doom which honestly is probably closer to staight up racist than low-key racist really. And Crystal Skull obviously but nobody even counts that.
