The lack of games at launch Is the most disappointing thing for me, Zelda looks alright but how well is that thing going to run undocked?? Nothing else really stood out for me. Seems a bit on the pricey side for an under powered machine. It'll be €319 in Ireland which is nuts!

What console really had good launch games anyway? Zelda is a HUGE launch game. Last major launch game of that caliber was Halo for the orginal Xbox. Along with Puyo Puyo Tetris, i think the launch game are not the worst it could be.

And I'm sure Nintendo's paid internet service will be super rock solid and reliable /s

I forgot about the service they mentioned. They just threw it out there and said nothing about it. If I have to pay for it what do I get for it? Will it have netflix, hulu, amazon prime? They have brought up more questions than answers and its less than 3 months away.

They didn't answer what we wanted to know. Sure, we wanted to see games but not just games. What's the system software like? It is all SD cards, downloads or what? VC? Online? Zelda looks amazing but 1 game I'm interested in on launch when I already own a Wii U with only 1 game on it isn't exactly pushing me to buy this thing.

It didn't answer ANYTHING but the price.... No hardware specs, storage, the actual launch lineup ect... We saw what? 3 games for the launch lineup?!? Those 2 stupid motion games and Zelda. Is that seriously the lineup of the system???

Xenoblade 2 and Mario are the only things for later in the year?

I do feel like this press conference was suppose to be for the Japanese audience considering how late it was in the US. They do have a stream for early in the morning that (I hope) gives the west more of what they want to hear about.

If Nintendo can work out all of the 3rd party kinks this could be really big for them. Probably not Wii big, but big enough for their console to be a serious option again, outside of the Nintendo diehards. I remember the Wii U having also a semi-strong lineup in the first few years of its life, only for the console to eventually miss out on just about every big multiplatform game coming out, which is probably a part of it's drop in popularity and total sales.

The main issues with Nintendo in the past has been the systems have been kinda hard to port over too/ develop for. With the rumors around with the system, its using a ARM processor. From what I know and have herd, the ARM processor is actually very easy to develop for, perhaps even easier than the X86 found in PS4 and XBOX.

A collection of reviews just isn't a way of knowing if you'll like the game or not. You gotta know the reviewer in order to get what they are saying. That's why IMO Giantbomb is successful. I know what Jeff thinks about games and how he acts around them from how he talks about them, some things he doesn't seem to like, I may like. Knowing the reviewer gives you more information then when you wouldn't know them, I could love something in the game the reviewer doesn't.

By the sounds of all the reviews and people talking though is if you are into RPGS, JRPGs and maybe action games? Then you may end up enjoying it. If you are just into CoD, Titanfall, ect. Then you may be upset you just wasted money on a "shit" game.

Usually when CAH does things like that, it ends up having a huge donation at the end. They are probably making a small pond to beautify a run down park?

tbh, I think its where PR have got to be too good at their jobs. Even when its weird to say... NMS is a prime example. People get TOO HYPED for a game that the game ends up being too overhyped.

I think it's safe to say Nintendo has completely left the WiiU out to dry. Its a shame too because there are actually quality games on it.

I think there's also a chance of no discount because of them stopping production. There was a article somewhere saying they have already shipped the last WiiUs coming to america to their partners (Walmart, Target, ect.) already. That being said, there is a difference in units being Shipped, and units being Sold. Nintendo is ramping up for March 2017 for the Switch and I don't think they want to try and sell you TWO consoles in the next 5 months.

In the end it'll be up to the retailers to discount the systems IMO, Nintendo has already written off the WiiU and probably just don't care at this point. I think there will be discount coming from the retailers for the WiiU at some point to empty stock for the Switch. It just may not be until after the holidays.
