The thing is, this issue isn't something the consumer is able to control. Its all about the cost over time. Now good for you for knowing your laws and how they are sapose to work. You must have spent some time finding the exact article in the law and posting it here. You probably spent a lot of time finding that information. And you probably spent almost enough time doing the work when you could have actually gone out and worked and got your money back. See my point?

What you need to do if your so insisting for a change is talk to a lawyer and probably get names, and I mean a lot of names to justify the lawsuit. What your looking at for yourself is a small claims court, which will probably cost more in court room costs than the game itself.

It sucks, but its the reality of it.

Can anyone who is a fan of both series shed any light? Are people expecting Gran Turismo 7 to be this huge revelation that blows everything else out of the water and makes both the selling of a glorified demo and the non-stop delays seem worth it?

I think some people are wanting a new GT, but I don't think people think its some revelation of a game. What game is these days? The people that want GT are people that wants a precise racing game, a lot like iracing on PC. While Forza is a good game, its still a video game, it feels like a video game. GT players want that accuracy, they want that precision that makes them feel like they can make that time on the real track. GT does this pretty decent. Real drivers have came out of GT 5 and 6 and have actually pulled out some pretty decent drivers from GT Academy (A GT Academy driver won 12 hours of Bathurst last year). GT Academy even has a race team in the Blancpain GT Series, and that's not the only racing team they have. This is why people who want GT, wants it. They want that "dream" of becoming a race car driver.

GT is more than a game, and while PD does need to get on the ball in making it on a release window, they do have a lot of pressure in making it more than just a game, but a platform that can give you the best simulator for racing.

GT has a lot on its plate, a lot more than Forza does. And you got to look at all of it to explain maybe why PD is at the position its in with the release of the game. They HAVE to get it right. And people can't blame Sony for this because I guarantee they are as unhappy as everyone else is once they have sponsors complaining on the delay.

May I suggest Guild Wars 2? The base game is free. The game is just so different than the other MMOs mentioned. The base game and season-one living-story stories arn't the best, but its cool with the things they have done since. Spoilers: What other MMO destroys the main trade hub and make it a end game zone for the sake of a story?

They are on season 3 now. The first two you can play them in Mission style like a single player game.

ALL content is still used in the game. Dont think just because you don't have the expansion means you wont find content. Since each zone has a certain level associated to it, everyone is that level while in that zone. So if you find yourself in a zone that a major event is going on (such as The Shatterer) you will still find yourself useful in that event even if you are not level 80 (max level).

Unlike wow, gear will never be an issue. The gear in gw2 does have rarity, but its very easy to get full Exotic gear. There will never be a better piece of gear than the level 80 exotic gear (except ascended gear). With this point, you wont have to worry about finding the BiS to do the most damage, you can concentrate on what gear you want to personalize your character.

I'll stop there because if I don't I could write pages and pages on gw2 lol.

Guild Wars 2 is a good game to at least try out. Its free, so what do you have to lose?

I think its fake. There's no real purpose to making this before Neo. The current ps4 is not large, in fact 2 of the sides of the ps4 are smaller than the Xbox 1S. There's no point in changing the ps4 design when it looks as good as it does.

The more I think about it, the more I feel its just the RV trip that could be happening. JV seems to have got it planed out to Orlando. I just don't see them pushing someone onto NY office and change the atmosphere on what you come to expect from NY, they do many things different than the west office and I dont see Dan fitting into the those types of videos.

I was honestly waiting/hoping at the end of that video that JV was waving him from a RV to come aboard!

With the fall of the Metal Gear series, the proclaimed end of the Souls franchise, the Uncharted series, and The Witcher it makes me a bit concerned that no new franchises has sprung up to replace these numerous deaths. Sure Final Fantasy is limping along but is almost guaranteed dead when the next game comes out and we haven't heard word of an Infamous since Second Son, I doubt zelda will make it if it's next game isn't a hit (I also doubt Starfox or Metroid are going to get a game anytime soon (for Metroid after Federation that is). What does that leave us with, CoD and Battlefield along with Mass Effect, AC, and FarCry?

Am I just freaking out here or is the role of big tentpole franchises fading away?

I dont think ANY of those game franchises are dead, including Uncharted. I think I herd somewhere that Uncharted will likely continue, but at a different studio and not nathan drake. The Witcher as I've herd will probably continue at some point, but with a different protagonist, the story (from the books) is complete. Final Fantasy 15 isnt guaranteed to kill Final Fantasy, I don't know why people think that. Zelda will be around until the end of video games... Starfox might be dead tbh, but was it really a franchise to look forward too to begin with? Metroid will be around when its time for another Metroid, the thing Nintendo does right is not letting their franchises get stagnant.

What people don't realize is that the FTC doesn't think these people on YouTube make a lot of money. They probably think it's 'cute' they are making a few bucks off videos playing games. But once realize and how much stuff youtubers are doing under their nose, and the MILLIONS of dollars, like pewdiepie are racking in. The FTC is going to come down on them hard. If you the think the drama has been bad recently on YouTube, oh my God wait for the FTC to show up. Grab a large bag of popcorn because it's going to be Oscar worthy performance.

If you dig down enough into their library, you'll truly find some priceless gems. For example: https://youtu.be/R0DKTZT_egE?t=27m30s
