I'll echo everyone's sentiments and say Sapienza is my favorite, with Hokkaido as a close second. It's interesting that they are so diametrically opposed in terms of scope and design. But they both have such great aesthetics and opportunities for fun assassination mayhem.

My second-tier levels would be Paris, Bangkok, and Colorado. Marrakesh is my least favorite map; it's cool seeing all the people all over the place in the bazaars and stuff, but it makes everything seem so claustrophobic. The amount of areas where you can actual get down to some sneaky assassin stuff just feels so limited (the school, embassy, and a couple spots here and there throughout the market, but that's about it), for such a big map. Colorado also feels very oppressive with all the different military factions, but it is much more compact, and all the different types of outfits makes it easy to stay undercover. It also has cool opportunities, sniping spots, and weird stuff like the scarecrow outfit and the mannequin arm you are supposed to beat a bunch of people with, apropos of nothing.

Good tips! Luckily I figured all of these out myself so far. Sucks to hear about your lost progress though :( I was surprised there wasn't any "retry battle" option at all, but luckily I'm pretty OCD about saving.

I'm loving the game so far, it's very cheerful and silly and I enjoy all the mechanics and gameplay systems.

Speaking of Requests - is there any way to access your active requests? I'm aware you can see the icons on the map but didn't know if there was a section of the menu/Topic that I was missing.

It doesn't seem like it; that's my only usability complaint with the game. Because of that, I have been trying to finish off requests ASAP after accepting them.

This is very generous of you! If Bridge Constructor is available, I wouldn't mind checking that out. I remember Vinny having a lot of goofy fun with that game, seems enjoyable :)

I'm gonna try this myself in 2016; my backlog is out of control as I have too much disposable income and not enough time these days (especially for big games like The Witcher 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, etc.) We'll see how long my resolve lasts - probably until the next time I see a game I want on sale for super cheap, haha.

@sanity: For sure. There's no point in continuing to play a game you've reached your breaking point with. I never finished MGSV this year and don't plan on it. I reached a point where the gameplay didn't outweigh all the other stuff in that game for me to continue on. I marked it off as "Got my time in" and moved on.

This is something that took me a while to come around on. I figure if I played a game for a few hours and gave it a fair shake, but I'm not having fun, no reason to keep wasting time on it. I'll still take it off my backlog (and probably sell it in the case of a physical game) in that situation. Last game I can remember like that was Army Corps of Hell on the Vita. I picked it up on the cheap, but it ended up being a poor man's Pikmin that very quickly became repetitive, grindy, and frustratingly hard to control (especially during boss fights). I couldn't bring myself to play anymore, so out the door it went.

DK Junior's Wild Vine Ride:

730F-0000-0066-E66D

It took me a bit to get the vines working like I wanted, but I am very pleased. Got the inspiration for this level after randomly unlocking the Donkey Kong Jr. Amiibo outfit. It is semi-challenging, and pretty fun, IMO. Enjoy!

@sparkysanxion: Just checked out some of your levels, really liked the Airship level, and the swimming was fun too. Managed to finally beat Death from above too :)

Just uploaded my third level called "Disposable Yoshi Factory", it is medium difficulty, has a fun little gameplay hook, and based on the feelings @Jeff has regarding Yoshi, he would probably be into it :P

Course ID is AA4C-0000-005E-00B9 if anyone is interested!

I've got a more classic-style underwater level that is light-medium difficulty, and pretty fun, I think. Name is "Cannonbill Run" (you can probably guess what the main element of the course is :p)

479B-0000-0044-E488 is the ID, thanks in advance if you check it out. Ill go through some levels in this thread right now.

Man, unexpected and shocking news. Definitely passed away too young. He seemed to have a great passion for games that will be sorely missed.

@bisonhero: Looks like you are getting your wish, seems to (finally) be a Quick Look lined up for Friday!

I'm actually in the middle of playing this game, just started Chapter 4 (I believe there are six chapters). I played Earthbound for the first time last summer and loved it, so this is definitely scratching that itch a bit.

I will say I agree with most of @addfwyn 's comments on the game, I would probably give the game 3 stars at this point. There's definitely a lot of JRPG styled combat, so if you aren't into that, you'll probably not have a good time. The positives keeping me playing the game are the weird storyline, characters, enemies, etc. and just general bizarreness, as well as trying out lots of different teams of characters. The array of party members you can get is pretty varied, and it's fun meeting them and trying to recruit them. As was said, I could definitely see how it would be possible to find a team you like and stick with it, but I think that would be less fun; you level up pretty quickly, so I found it easy to quickly grind out levels for newer, weaker characters to see if I liked them.

There are some characters with super useful skills like the Car Salesman (which lets you drive a car around the world map, and get around faster, as well as run over enemies so you don't have to fight them), the Pilot (who lets you fast travel), and the Mascot (which allows you to change the difficulty on the fly). I would recommend trying to recruit them ASAP.

I remember reading about technical issues with the game, but I'm playing the PS4 version, and after about 13 hours of game time, I haven't had a single crash or bug.

Anyways, those are some quick thoughts! I definitely think I'll end up finishing the game, especially knowing that it doesn't seem to be absurdly long (by RPG standards).
