If you want to see what hitman games use to be start with Hitman 2 or Blood Money. (Contracts was a weird middle chapter game, but a Hitman game none the less)

Hitman Absolution is a complete reinvention of the franchise. Absolution is linear as compared to the previous games, which are open ended in gameplay and the map. The disguise system is a big complaint for a lot of people. So much that IO Interactive is working on making changes to it. (they say)

My advice would be to ignore the scoring system and the scoreboard in the upper left. Playing Hitman properly isn't about being silent or not being spotted, it's playing it how you want to play. Plenty of the previous games I've killed people with silenced gunshots and taken disguises. Absolution is a way different version of Hitman compared to the previous games in the series.

Play how you want to play, have fun, and don't mind being a little dirty if you have to. Just play however you want. Hope that helps.

@MB said:

@Vadered: I have a whole host of reasons why I don't want to give money to the Red Cross...but that is really way off topic which is why I didn't really go into it. People can do their own research and decide who they want to donate to, although most never will and just blindly give which is really unfortunate.

That's awesome MB. Do you listen to the No Agenda show? they've uncovered a whole bunch of things about the Red Cross including how they didnt help fix Haiti and that most of the money goes into running the Red Cross, not aiding people. They also found out how all the money donated was embezzled into building a hotel & resort (for the Clintons) instead of going to help the people.

Sony wont drop out (not likely) for one thing, if Sony does hit rock bottom the worse that will happen is that they'll file for bankruptcy and then restructure the company. PlayStations would still get made regardless if they're a profitable product.

That's the way business works, in America at least.

edit: Also, Sony's most profitable venture is its Financial arm, not its games division.

it would be the retarded ass kids and internet trolling that goes on in voice chat and forums. I mean there's not any maturity in the community so I generally just avoid it.

The traditional British breakfast or the traditional American breakfast, mainly consisting of eggs (one of the important parts) and other traditional things, like hashbrowns and other sides.

Yes. they do affect the story. Some characters from the main story are in the strike force missions.

Not reading the replies much since I intend to replay the different choices. I blew everybody's head off though. Nobody lived. I killed them ALL. Don't know if the blowing up drones part is suppose to be different in the end, but he did that in my playthrough too. As I said though, NOBODY LIVED.

I was kind bummed at one moment when I was about to shoot my captured friend while I was undercover, but waited too long and it automatically chose to shoot the villain for me. So I was bummed and couldnt help but go back and replay the WHOLE MISSION over again cause I wanted to blow his head off. So some of the shocking surprise went dull cause I knew what happens and just wanted to blow his brains out the 2nd time around.

edit: by the way, didnt you just love this part of the game
