The US military and NATO reject all the studies linking the use of Depleted Uranium weapons to increased rates in cancer and birth defects, in both our own troops and civilians living in war zones. Do you agree with the Military's claims?

Here's a video showing both sides:

If Depleted Uranium is safe, then why did Kuwait ship 6,700 TONs of sand contaminated with Depleted Uranium by the US military, all the way across the world to be buried in Idaho in 2008?

Here is the news article:

In Halo 3 a hard drive was required for content saving, file share, and online co-op (for some reason)
My Xbox 360 broke about a year ago and I finally got it replaced with the Xbox 360 S 4GB version, but instead of a 4GB hard drive, it just had 4GB built in, and no hard drive.

Anyway, does anyone know if a hard drive is required for saving content and playing online co-op, or can I use a different storage device?

One of the things I really loved about Halo 3 was that everyone started with the same weapons and they had to know the maps and where to get the good stuff.  Most games now only have a loadout option and there's no weapons in the actual levels.  The loadout system seems to be taking a step in that direction.  I really hope there's an "old school" mode where players have no armor abilities and everyone starts with the same gear.

I'm a little uninformed about this game, but someone told me that they are taking out some great things like Infection mode, Griffball, and Team Swat.  Can someone confirm/deny this?

Hello again Giantbomb, I finally got my hands on some of the great games on the PS3 that I missed out on.  I recently switched to PS3 after my Xbox 360 died, so I didn't have a chance to play some of the great older games that the console has to offer.  Luckily one of my friends has a wide selection of games for me to borrow, so I finally got to play them

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

I wanted to play this game for a long time, and it didn't fail to amaze me.  Having not played the rest of the series, a lot of the story was very confusing for me, but the game did a great job explaining what was going on.  Some parts are still pretty confusing for me, but they mostly are related to the other games.  Aside from confusing storyline details, the game was fantastic.  I really enjoyed the gameplay, and that I could choose between stealth and assault.  Some of the short segments were very innovative and fun.  The cutscenes, while a bit too long, were entertaining and, at times, very emotional.  My personal favorite is the one near the end of the game where
Snake goes through the microwave tunnel.

Overall a very fun game that I really enjoyed playing

Dead Space

I haven't beaten this game yet, so please don't spoil anything for me.  This game is creepy and demented and sick, and I'm loving every minute of it.  It is easily one of the scariest games I've ever played.  At first I thought "this isn't that scary", probably because I was on easy mode, but at one point one of the small creatures with the tentacles jumped out of the window right next to me, and that scared the hell out of me.  After i beat it on easy, I'm probably going to do another playthrough on Hard, because that'll make the creatures that pop up that much more scary.

Demon's Souls

This game is hard.  Really hard.  But for some reason, i can't help but love it.  Usually when I die in a game, I rage (especially in Modern Warfare 2), but in Demon's Souls instead of anger I feel like I've learned something.  This game is heavy on punishment as well.  When you die (which happens very often), you lose ALL of the souls you collected.  There is no safe or anything in the hub area, so you either have to spend your souls or carry them with you.  It makes me really nervous when I'm carrying a pocketful of souls because I barely didn't have enough to spend on a level up.

Every time I die in this game, I learned how NOT to do something.  Like how I shouldnt try to block against the black skeleton with red eyes, or how I shouldn't jump off the small cliff when I'm fighting Astraea because the pit is filled with plague babies, or how no matter how hard I try, I can't kill the False Idol until I do something else first.
This game is probably one of the most difficult  and greatest games I have ever played

I was personally not interested in the features provided by PS+, but I'm sure they are going to add more to it to make it worth the money.  As for inFamous, I never got around to playing that game.  Maybe I'll check it out.

Ever since seeing the preview for Journey by Thatgamecompany, I've been wanting to play a good open world game.  I have Oblivion, which is great and all, but I feel like exploring in that game doesn't yield many rewards.  Anyway, can someone list me a few good open world games to try out?
