There are a lot of things I had issues with, but this was the most concentrated fun I've had with a game in a long time. And it's the first open-world style game that had me focusing more on the world than the story missions. And for someone who has little interest in LotR, I was surprised to find myself reading the books because of this.

I go hot and cold on this game, but I keep coming back to it, and it's damned near perfect for what it is.

I honestly thought this would be higher, but I haven't managed to finish it and have gotten somewhat overwhelmed by the length of it.

I agree with whoever it was on the GOTY podcasts -- this could have been game of the year, but it had so many problems, and in such inexplicable areas.

Played a bunch on Vita. I don't think I spent as much time with it as with other games on the list, but I love the sheer polish of this.
