@KaosAngel: oh, and don't forget... GOW III is a 44 million dollar AAA title. You are looking at and hearing some of the best the entertainment industry has to offer. Not every game is going to be like that. Sony's first party studios also have access to Sony's collective movie studio resources as well I am sure. Its very expensive and hard to make these games this good.
Have you played Uncharted 2 in your set up? I would image you would get similar results.
@KaosAngel: the 360 will sound fine but don't expect the same results. I think only the PS3 (and possibly only the slim) (not counting PC) puts out full uncompressed audio (although i could be wrong). It is an incredible experience to have thundering surround sound at home. Anyone who thinks there is no difference simply hasn't had the privilege of experiencing it.

I just got Mass Effect 2 for $10 on amazon through a combination of deal of the day and some credits from other games I bought. I know its not a total straight up deal per say... but I still payed only $10 out of pocket for a brand new game.
The majority of you say it is worth playing ME first so... I will play ME first :) I have at least a few days before ME2 even gets here so I will try and get through a bunch of ME over the weekend. 15 - 20 hours is long but not too bad. I have God of War 3 pre-orderd too... looks like i will wind up splitting my time between them... but its all good. Lots of fun to be had over the coming weeks.

The PS3 was the lead platform for BF:BC2... and it shows. I have played the demo on both the PS3 and the 360. The PS3 version just feels better overall to me so I bought it on the PS3. I would recommend other do the same if you have the choice.
