The reason why flash is not on the iPhone is because Flash is not designed for use on touch screen devices. 
 
For example, most flash uses the onhover state for many things... there is no onhover for touch devices, things are either being touched or not. If you are hovering over (touching) something you can't see it. 
 
The overall design and user experience of Flash on a touch screen doesn't work. Plus flash is a horrible horrible memory hog. 
 
These are the main reasons Apple does do it. Plus... if you look at Safari statistical data... something like 80 - 90% of time, IIRC,  Safari crashes is because of Flash.

You can change the wallpaper to anything. Just sounds like your frustrated. None of those things are actual problems. I love my 3GS. 
 
The issues I have with android phones are maybe the opposite. 
 
Multitasking apps kills the battery. 
I don't need a flash for the camera.  I have a real camera for that.  
Why do you need an infrared camera on your phone?
The lack of a media management solution that works (copy files to an android is not management.) I love iTunes, it works flawlessly (aside from DRM stuff which is why I don't buy music or movies from iTunes anyone, I rip my own CD's). 
 On the iPhone I can be on a call and browse the web (or do almost anything else) at the same time. 
 Fuck Flash. Fuck Flash in every possible way. With any luck it will go away once HTML 5 video embedding becomes mainstream. 
 The iPhone screens are much more accurate. 

 On top of that, I have a Mac computer and the integration is seamless. The overall user experience on an iPhone is second to none. None of the other solutions even come close to overall integration and ease of use. 
 
And as for Windows phones... they have always been awful (IMHO), I expect no different from Win 7. The panoramic UI is weird, IMHO.

maybe, might wait for a sale deal. i was hoping they would add spec ops stuff too so I am a little disappointed its just maps... although I am glad they are bring back some of the COD4 maps, I like the COD4 maps better.
