@FourWude: Allen Wake was up there too. Too human as well considering that was originally meant to be a ps1 game. Those games actually came out eventually though. This one probably will too, just in a long time. The way 3rd party mods work it takes forever because of the lack of a dedicated studio (not that the people working on it aren't dedicated. Its just life get in the way when your not getting paid for the time.) I remember talks when insurgency came out that it would take another three years for a proper version update. For these kinds of games it takes a major level of patience
@fisher81: Ah thats probably where kotaku got it. I just woke up this morning and saw it on kotaku. Saw part 1 and read the article. Its just kind of sad when he makes sweeping generalizations of a form of media when his last experience with games was the equivalent of the 1920s in movies
RTS hands down I try to play them well, I have enjoyed the red alert games and starcraft. I just cant play them with any competitiveness online. Fighting games im okay at but definitly not the best.
ign for the most part. I listen to the cheapass gamer podcast and they do quick little blurbs about games they liked and didnt like. I glance at gamespot now and again, but ive lost interest in most their journalism. Its just more of the same
yep. Went to their website and nothing. Been looking at this game for years. I'll be happy when it comes out, but for now theres a million other games im looking at.
yeah you got that from kotaku. I saw that early and just realised that roger ebert is a sad sad man. He doesnt like video games be cause he had an early onset addiction to them and went into a depression funk. Then putting away his interest in video games forever. Hes just another sucker who couldnt adapt to the times like the way people thought about movies way back when and how people felt about comics for a long time and in some respect do.
I used to but that become cumbersome so what I did is take all my games and put them in a little slide out bin designed for cd's I got when I was 9. I keep the cases in storage boxes under my bed now.
I watched it cause my girlfriend likes the series. She says she doesnt like the movies, but she watches them cause shes a fan of the books. I think she just wont admit to me she likes the movies
