Things that make you go, sigh. Can we please stop with this pandering nonsense. I feel like whenever Hollywood runs out of ideas they take old ideas and just make them black, so they're somehow "fresh" again. Can we just keep established character's how they are? I'm saying this as a black person. I was probably going to go see the movie anyway. This does not make me want to see it anymore then I already did. My first reaction to the news was something along the lines of, "...I guess."
I find her joke neither are funny or offensive. It's just your usual Twitter comment. Nothing worth starting a forum thread over certainly. So in my opinion, no, she shouldn't have to apologize.
Zero, kawami, kawami 2, 3, 4, 5, ( 3 4 and 5 are getting released on the current consoles in a collection but 3 in said collection is out right now) and 6. I have no idea what you mean by you want to play them by release date when you say you don't want to go back to the PS2 or PS3. At this point you can damn near play them all on a PS4 with the exception of 4 and 5 but they should be coming sometime this year or the beginning of 2020.
@shorap: You should give the epilogue a look. It goes more into how he built the material for the special. He goes on to say even he was a little uncomfortable with some of the things he was saying because he knew that at any moment someone might try and "cancel" him. Apparently at one of his shows it was a transgender person that encouraged him to say what was on his mind. That isn't to say that this one transgender person speaks for the whole group, but it does kind of support my point is that transgender people have thicker skin than people give them credit.
I'm not encouraging you to watch the whole thing, but you should watch it and make up your own mind with the whole context. Everybody got a swing on them. If you don't want to support Dave that's fine. He's a millionaire. Pirate the thing.
By only picking out those particular bits,you only ate the brussel sprouts and not the rest of the meal on the plate that's pretty damn good.
@shorap: LGBT people being discriminated against by the government is more of a different argument than I was saying. The government is kind of biting back against a lot of people's rights, women especially with these new abortion laws.
Have the LGBT community had it rough? They most certainly have. But what group has not had it rough at some point? Do we never mention Jewish people because of the Holocaust? Do we never mention black people because at one point in America they were slaves, were treated as less than human? Do we never mention Mexican people because they are they are currently dehumanized and have their children put in cages as we speak?
People are terrified to even talk about the LGBT community cause they might misconstrued or say something wrong. How are people supposed to learn what is okay and not okay if we can't talk about it? We have to be able to talk about these things We have to be able to normalize people so that they can integrate feel comfortable and safe within society.
